Water & Amusement Parks
Hershey Park is an amusement park that features rides such as roller coasters and thrill rides for adults, family-friendly rides, and water attractions for kids. The park has a Boardwalk section that offers a water park with slides, waves pool and more.
Fun, relatively clean park with lots of entertaining rides. Fun for the whole family! If you like coasters this is one of the best bangs for your buck. A tip, look at the prices of the fast track to see how busy it will be on your visit. The lower the price, the less busy the park will be. Most of all, have a good time!

This was my first time visiting for the holiday season. It was very pretty but overally crowded in some of the attractions. We weren't able to see everything they had to offer because they closed so early, even on a Friday. Chocolate World was closed as well, and so we're most of the rides. It was a nice experience but I wouldn't come back during the holidays. I feel like it was too expensive for what it was.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Hershey! The weather was perfect for the activity and the crowd was fair. The wait for the ride weren’t bad either. The park was clean and the atmosphere was welcoming. We went during Mother’s Day weekend and it was a great time. The water park was not open just yet. I am from PA and still live here so my commute was not bad (1 1/2 hours). Go go go!!!!! Hershey park is a wonderful time and the plus is it is perfect for all ages!!

Beautiful day. The food was decent. Didn't seem too packed, but you still need to pay extra for fast track if you want to get on all the big rides. Otherwise, you're standing in line all day. We did go on Sunday with shorter hours, which made it worse, but still had a great day with family.

Park was enjoyable! We don't ride rides so we solely came for dark nights. It was a Good time to just walk around and see the actors dressed up! And got food passes to try different food and drink items in the park.

Very fun park with lots of different rides to choose from, such as dropping towers or frightening roller coasters. However, I believe that pricing has become too much, especially with parking. I was able to purchase parking for $25 for a general parking spot, but the regular price is $35, which is outrageous for a parking spot. I also feel that team members could have been nicer with fast pass. One member of my party was disabled and had an accessible fast pass, but the team members were very rude about letting us pass, even with a disability. On the other hand, the rides were very amusing and entertaining. I believe that Hershey Park is a great day trip for children and adults alike, but be weary of pricing and staff occasionally.

We had such a blast at Hershey Park!!! The kids are finally old enough to be able to enjoy the rides and explore the entire park, which was so much fun!!I loved seeing all the animals, going on the low-key rides and eating at the restaurant and shopping at the big gift shop!A few recommendations: get your tickets in advance! Pay the extra money for the fast pass because the lines to roller-coasters have long wait times.... if you like to eat their restaurant located in the front of the park, make reservations beforehand because the wait time is super long....My only complaint is that the bathrooms are kinda of gross🤢 special towards the end of the day.... so make sure you have baby wipes for your hands!!Also, get there when the park first opens....Can't wait to go for the Halloween♡

I would love to give this park 5 stars. It is a beautiful park that includes a theme park, water park, zoo and Chocolate world. They have fantastic rides for everyone, including a great coaster selection! You can easily spend 2-3 days here. The food was very good and overall the prices were reasonable. And don't miss out on the shakes and Sundays at Chocolate world. 😋My issues with the park are line jumping and ride operations. On our first day at the park we had 40-50 people cut line in front of us. Our second day we had even more issues than that!! There were 2 times employees were right there and didn't say a word to the people cutting.Ride operations, at most rides, were average to below average compared to other parks. Some rides, like Candymonium, were terrible. Candymonium was taking 3-5 minutes to dispatch a train. There was a constant backup of all 3 trains and this is a high capacity coaster that should be chewing through riders! Overall we had a good time, however, these 2 issues really impact a guest experience and is something that needs to be addressed.

We went to chocolate town in Hershey and road the trolley and made candy bars. It is a fun experience for all ages and brings out the kid in all of us. Great family trip and a trip down memory lane for couples. They offer a theme park that looked like a fun thing to do with the family. The food in the town was great and highly recommend you take time to explore.

FYI, With a single ticket purchase you get to preview the park 1.5 hours the day before closing time. So if you plan to visit the whole day on Saturday and Friday closes at 10pm you can come in at 8:30pm on Friday at no extra charge, even the parking is free on Friday. You also want to purchase parking tickets ahead of time because it’s cheaper than paying at the gate. The Hershey Park app is a good tool to see the wait times for the rides. IMHO, this park is the best value for the money. Before the entrance you have the Hershey Chocolate Tour which is a free sit down ride for the whole family that tells you about the history and how they make the chocolate, and at the end they give you a free piece of chocolate. The rides are unbelievable, and my favorite is Wildcats Revenge. Auntie Mortem’s Abaattoir was my favorite haunted house. The pig head masks were very cool.I had an issue that was my fault which would have ruined my vacation and I went to Guest Services and I ended up speaking with a supervisor and he understood my problem and he did the right thing and made it right. All I have to say is they have the best customer service and I will be a customer for the rest of my life. The staff for the rides are also very polite and professional. They take safety very seriously at the park.

Hersheypark is awesome!! This was the first stop on a cross country adventure I’m embarking on with my granddaughter and I’m so glad we did!The park was clean, the staff was friendly and happy to help anyone who needed it.They don’t accept cash ( which blew my mind… hey, I’m old school… what can I say)? But they do have “cash to card” machines that convert paper currency to a credit card that you can use to make purchases. So, it worked out well. There are several roller coasters to choose from, so everyone can experience the thrill! From the colossal size of “Candy Monium”, to the mid-sized “Wild Mouse”, or the somewhat docile ride of “Trail Blazer”, you just can’t go wrong! For those of you who remember Rocky Point, they even have the Music Express, which was an instant favorite for us, since we went on it several times!!The park also has ZooAmerica, which is a smaller sized zoo to walk through with well marked paths. Upon entering, be sure to get your hand stamped to re-enter the amusement park area when you’re done viewing the animals.Overall, it was well worth the trip and I’m glad I got to finally experience it with my granddaughter!

What a well designed park. Rides and coasters everywhere. Marketing not in your face despite it being a Hershey themed park. And everything was affordable from the food and beverages to the snacks and souvenirs.Best part of all was that so many “big” rollercoasters could be ridden by smaller kids. Our youngest was able to ride nearly every coaster and had the time of his life.It was very busy, so without a fast past you will be waiting over an hour for the most popular rides during the day. But after 4pm the lines disappear and you can get on any ride with barely any wait time.Highly recommend this park!!!
Ryan L — Google review
Fun experience! Wildcats roller coaster was my favorite. However, I’d recommend getting a fast pass. We got inside an hour after it opened and we waited 2 hours in line to get on one ride. So our time there was mostly spent in line and we didn’t get to see the whole park.

Awesome Reality,This place is everything I ever wanted and more. The rides were unpredictable as each one had its own twist of excitement. The cars displayed throughout the park were epic. Just check out the new 2010 off brand 4-person car escort to have your eyes blown away by the capability the car has. Finally, I got a chance to meet some of the characters there, and man, they sure love to bust a move. The environment was great, and the employees were good. However, 16.95 for a lemonade? 7 bucks for popcorn? 7 bucks for cotton candy? It is an unfortunate twist of events. Unfortunately, this type of pricing is just as bad as that one steakhouse in uptown manhattan. Even the characters couldn't save this park from getting 5 stars. Besides that, this park is perfect in every other way. Would highly recommend it. Just make sure to save a couple thousand of bucks, and you should be good.Reporting from Hershey © Park,That's all I'm going to say

Hershey Park has some of the best roller coasters around. Once the kids hit Hershey Bar height requirements, lots of options open up, much more than at the Reese's Cup height. It's also kept clean, and lines weren't bad for an August weekend. The park is hilly and takes a bit of effort to cross if you aren't used to it.
Chris L — Google review
It was great, a bit expensive, but lots of fun 😀 the rides were great. I wish they lasted a little longer, but I had a wonderful time. However, if you ever want to see a Real tour of a Hershey factory, there is an actual running factory in Modesto, California. You can see how they actually make the chocolate and all the different candy. They have a small store as well. And give you a full-size candy bar at the end of the tour.
Pamela K — Google review
We went for the Creed Concert and Park. It wasn’t overly crowded on Friday, food and drinks at the park are your typical amusement park prices and quality. The flavored lemonades at some of the stands were good. The lines for rides weren’t terrible on Friday.Saturday, it was very crowded and the lines for rides were 30min-120+min, it was harder to get around due to the volume of people walking and the strollers.

We’ve gone every year for the past three years for day trips and it is 100% some of my favorite memories with my kids. The perfect mix of small medium big and VERY big rides. & The gift shops are Christmas gift heaven. I mean everyone has their fav candy right?!My favorite thing about this park is the short wait times. We like to go somewhat “off season” September-November and we literally ride every ride, some multiple times. You beat the heat that way too. Money well spent. It’s also incredibly clean.Since we only do day trips we are always able to do something different when we go. Realistically you could probably do all Hershey has to offer in 3 or 4 days. But even then… I promise you’ll want to go back 😎

The best amusement park I’ve ever been to. So much fun. We managed to get all of the coasters which made my whole family happy. Good history!
Chaylea B — Google review
Great experience. The park was not very busy, so we were able to get on a ton of excellent roller coasters with less than 30 minute wait. The rides were not quite as cool or massive as Cedar Point but still better than the vast majority of amusement parks. They have at least 10 really solid coasters and a ton of smaller rides. They really know how to treat you like a human being. There are a ton of places to get water for free all over the park, which was super appreciated since the weather was in the upper 90s both days.Make sure to stop by the big store to the right before the park entrance. There is a cool animatronic factory tour and you get a free little hershey bar at the end.We planned in advance and got an unlimited fast track pass, this turned out to be a waste as the park was not busy. Theoretically they can sell out or raise the prices of fast passes, but I would recommend seeing how busy the park is the day of your visit before buying one after our experience and checking out ride wait times on other days on the app.

I've been coming to Hershey since I was too little to walk... this was my first trip to the Hershey Gardens... It's incredible. So beautiful. And the butterflies section is so cool. Definitely recommend 🦋

So lovely here! If it weren't for the humidity, I could spend all day in the Butterfly Atrium! 🦋The gardens were well curated and manicured, making this a really peaceful spot to enjoy being in nature, listening to the breeze, water fountain, and birds. 😊🌳🌿🌹🌷⛲A great place to work remotely, read a book, get some thinking done, or go for a walk/jog to clear your mind.

I've been to several botanical gardens around the country and this one was one of the best I've found. The amazing collection of flowers and trees spread throughout the grounds is truly awe inspiring and well worth a trip. The grounds is large enough that even if there are others you don't even notice. Highly recommend!

Our visit to Hershey Gardens was an absolute delight from start to finish! Nestled in the heart of Hershey, this botanical gem offers a perfect blend of beauty, relaxation, and fun for the entire family. The grounds are impeccably maintained, with vibrant flower beds, serene walking paths, and a stunning array of plants and trees. The Butterfly Atrium was a highlight for our kids; they were fascinated by the colorful butterflies fluttering around and even landing on them! It was a magical experience that they still talk about. We also loved the Children's Garden, which is designed specifically with little ones in mind. Our kids enjoyed exploring the interactive exhibits and learning about nature in a hands-on way. The garden is well thought out, with plenty of shaded areas, benches for resting, and educational signage that made the visit both fun and informative. The seasonal displays were breathtaking, and it's clear that a lot of thought and care goes into every aspect of the gardens. We visited during the summer, and the blooming roses were absolutely stunning. The combination of natural beauty and family-friendly activities made Hershey Gardens a perfect destination for our day out.Overall, Hershey Gardens exceeded our expectations in every way. Whether you're a nature lover, a family with young children, or just looking for a peaceful escape, Hershey Gardens is a must-visit. We'll definitely be returning!

Hershey Gardens is a well curated experience that regardless of the time of year you will see new plants, new colors and find something you did not see the last time you were there. At the entrance you can chose to visit the butterfly arboretum or bypass and stroll the gardens, one of the main attractions are the acres of roses- I was concerned that coming in a heatwave in July we would miss the blooms but this was not the case- a crayola box full of blends and tones of variations of color scatter through the acres of roses, and the layering of plants in the garden provide a visual feast of colors; before entering the main building there is an entire embankment of pollinator plants that lead down the hillside. Regardless of how old the children are or whether they are not there, we enjoy the children’s garden; the trees are simply amazing. The history of the garden itself is something that someone could write home about - tribute garden, gift shop, it’s a lovely way to spend a couple hours in the heat of the summer. Always an anticipated trip. They have educational programs as well as less structured activities, and this last visit Zoo America also had a naturalist presence.

Hershey Gardens is an absolute gem, especially if you’re a fan of butterflies. The butterfly atrium is a standout feature that transports you to a tropical paradise filled with vibrant, fluttering butterflies. As soon as you enter, you’re greeted by a warm, humid environment that mimics the natural habitats of these delicate creatures. The variety of butterflies is impressive, with species from all over the world showcasing an array of colors and patterns. It’s a wonderful learning experience as well, with informative displays and friendly staff who are always eager to share interesting facts about the butterflies and their life cycles. The lush plant life within the atrium adds to the magical atmosphere. It’s not just about the butterflies; the whole setting is beautifully maintained, making it a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts. Everywhere you look, there’s something captivating, from exotic flowers to delicate vines that create a harmonious environment for the butterflies.Beyond the butterfly atrium, Hershey Gardens offers an expansive outdoor garden area that’s equally enchanting. The themed gardens, such as the rose garden and Japanese garden, provide a serene walking experience with plenty of benches to sit and take in the beauty. The Children’s Garden is a fantastic addition for families, offering interactive elements that engage kids in nature and gardening.Overall, Hershey Gardens is a must-visit destination for anyone in the area. It’s a peaceful, educational, and visually stunning place that offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, a visit to Hershey Gardens, especially the butterfly atrium, is an experience you won’t forget.

Beautiful gardens as well as fantastic butterfly atrium. The staff was very friendly, and the grounds are clean and well-kept! This is a lovely change of pace for when you tire of CHOCOLATE! ☺️ We bought the tickets bundled with The Hershey Museum, so we saved a bit. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful gardens, butterfly house was a fun treat, the kids enjoyed the children's garden. Rose garden was adorable, Japanese garden was a lot of fun. The little store had some cute things. We had to buy one of the color changing in the sun shirts for the kids (like I had as a kid) and a sucker with ants on it to try. Would definitely go again.

Great time, as always. The gardens are kept well, and the facility offers a nice educational experience where several types of butterflies are available to view in person. Also, the main facility offers a gift shop, beverages, and air conditioning. The views are spectacular and contribute to an overall relaxing experience, with plenty of places to sit and take in the serenity.

Really beautiful and well maintained grounds. I quite enjoyed walking through and appreciating the area. There's a smaller section for children that is a ton of fun along with a garden that was planted by students. Stop by the butterfly atrium for another great experience, ton of free parking too, I liked it.

Spectacular. The tulips were in full bloom. The trees were blooming with some in leaf. The entire garden is meticulously manicured. There are several gardens that make up the complex. There is no printed map and you should photograph the one in the conservatory. A must see.

The Hershey Gardens is one of our most favorite places to visit when we are in Hershey. The rose gardens are absolutely stunning in early June! The arboretum, children’s garden, and butterfly house also make this trip very enjoyable and relaxing. All of the staff we have encountered have always been very courteous and friendly, especially in the butterfly house. There is a small gift shop located in the conservatory building as well. I definitely recommend an outing here at the gardens if you’re looking for a more relaxed way to spend time in the Hershey area!

We went on a weekday and it was almost empty :) huuge plus is a free parking ( I did not expect anything free in Hershey 🤣) Definitely liked their butterfly atrium. Many different butterflies to see super close and some might land on you too.

We stayed at the Hershey campground so we got a discount which was awesome, perks of staying at an affiliate hotel! Didn’t get to see the whole gardens it just was so so so hot out, but what we did see was beautiful. There is no strollers inside where the butterfly’s are just for safety of the butterflies, there’s stroller parking just around the corner from the atrium. A big plus for me is that they’re autism friendly, they had sensory backpacks (fcfs) you just give your ID and they hold it up at the ticket counter and once you return the backpack you get your ID back. Very awesome thing they offer ❤️ the staff is super friendly and are there to help!

I have high standards for botanic gardens and someone with a membership at my local one, and I was more than impressed with Hershey Gardens! The butterfly room was incredible and packed with butterflies and moths. Having the fruit out to lure them to areas you could see them was such a smart idea and made them easy to find. The rose garden was a natural highlight, but the entire grounds were just lovely. It is mostly outdoors, so prepare to walk a bit and wear sunscreen.

The Hershey Story Museum tells the story of Milton S. Hershey, one of the most influential and successful businessmen in American history. The museum features interactive exhibits about his life, as well as limited-run exhibits on special occasions. Admission is free for all visitors, and it is a family-friendly museum that is perfect for anyone interested in learning more about Milton Hershey and his legacy.
This is a winner and we will return! It has been many years since I’ve been to the Hershey area and this was not here the last time we were. This museum tells the story of Milton Hershey in a clear and interesting way. The museum is interactive and engaging. The guides that are stationed throughout the museum are very helpful. We also participated in the Chocolate Lab where we made truffles. Our teacher was a bit boring but the experience was worth it. We finished our visit in the gift store which had an interesting selection. I can’t wait to try my chocolate soap! One important note for those of us that have limited mobility. There is an elevator and an easy to navigate museum. There are also ample benches throughout the museum to be able to enjoy the museum and be able to navigate comfortably. One problem I had was with the bathroom on the first floor. The handicap stall was not big enough to fit my walker. That was a challenge. However, they have a bathroom on the second floor that is handicap friendly. Also, I did not see handicap parking on the way in. We found a spot that was fairly close but it was a little awkward getting to the entrance.

I thought this place was super cool, Milton Hershey really created an entire community and it stemmed from confections. Kinda funny honestly. The history is rich, and there are plenty of interactive opportunities for the kids as well, it's a great museum, and definitely worth stopping by.

Great museum to learn everything there is to know about Milton Hershey and how the Hershey company came to be. The pricing was $15 for the museum and $15 for the Chocolate Lab. The Lab was cool, you learn about the Chocolate making process. You can also "make" a chocolate bar. IThey give you melted chocolate and you pour in a mold, decorate and they put it in the fridge to harden. We would definitely recommend the museum and maybe the Lab for kids.

We visited this museum before leaving Hershey. We had such a good day out. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The interactive chip was a hit, my kids loved that component. I would love to visit again and listen more intently to all the stories. There was so much to do there, we could've easily spent another hour.

I love museums and those that tell a story. So much to do here. Chocolate tastings from around the world, chocolate lab - essentially hands on classes, and a whole lot of information. The Hershey’s did wonders for the area and it was pleasant being able to step back into their world and see how the famous chocolate did just that - become famous. We arrived at 2pm and were able to do chocolate tasting right away. Unfortunately, the chocolate lab classes weee already booked up. I would certainly do this again if I were back in the area.Plenty of parking near the museum.

We arrived in Hershey on Saturday for Labor Day weekend. Booking at the Hershey Lodge we recieved complementary tickets to the Gardens and Story Museum. After 3+ hours in the car, our toddler enjoyed being about to run around and play at Hershey Gardens for a few hours and walk around the museum while we waited for our room to be ready! The personalized token for listening to the stories was fun and interactive!

My boyfriend and I stopped here after finding out the Green Day concert was postponed. It's a smaller museum, but very informative. They give you a little token to scan at different displays that gives you information on the exhibit. There are some movies that they have playing as well. They also have chocolate tasting, which we were able to do and making your own chocolate bar, which we were not able to do. They also have some interactive touch screen games and a make your own wraper game.

The museum was fairly small and took under an hour to see it all. A little disappointing for $16.50. They only give you one rfid token per party to activate various stories around the museum. I would recommend buying 1 ticket at a time, so group members can explore separately. There was some interesting information about Milton Hershey's life, but I would have liked to see more about the chocolate factory.I am not sure if this museum is related to Hersheypark. They do not offer a discount for season pass holders. We went here and to the Hershey Gardens. With driving it took about 3 hours and cost $33 per person. I would recommend spending a few more dollars to get an extra day at the park, or exploring Harrisburg if you have had enough amusement park.

The Wolf Sanctuary of PA is a wildlife refuge that shelters rescued wolves from all over the country. The sanctuary provides guided tours with information about wolf conservation and biology. Visitors can track, rehabilitate, and treat these animals in their unique environment. On Full Moon nights, visitors can enjoy bonfires, live entertainment, and explore the sanctuary at their own pace.
We visited on a snowy, sunny day in January and had such a wonderful time! Our guide Starr was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and patiently answered questions from kids and adults alike. We got to see a lot of the wolves who were happily lazing about in the snow or showing off their latest treats, and learned about their individual histories, as well as the challenges faced by wolves in America and also by wolf-dog hybrids. I highly recommend the tour, and 100% of your ticket price goes to the organization. They do important rescue work and I'm happy to support it.A few details to note: Tours take place in all weather, so dress appropriately; you will be outside the entire time, unless you visit the gift shop after the tour. There is some paved parking, but most of it is in a field, at the top of a rather steep hill. In the snow this can be a little tricky if you don't have a vehicle that can handle it. There are no restrooms, only porta-potties on site. You will be on your feet for the whole tour and it's not handicap-accessible. But well worth it if you can make it!

Our son LOVES wolves, so this was a must-do on our list! Booking can be difficult as this place is very popular and sells out quickly. January, the calendar is posted. The first of every month, at 10am, more tours may be added. The guides are all volunteers, so it is based on their availability. I highly recommend a non-summer visit, as that is the best viewing seasons due to heat for the wolves. Our weather today was amazing! There are a total of 54. We chose the private tour, as we wanted the most time and exposure that you will not get with the public tour. Our guide was wonderful, knowledgeable, and full of information! There are some distant enclosures that you cannot see well but most of the enclosures you will walk past in the private tour. Our guide said the public tours are shorter and you don't see as much. We also had our tour just after feeding, which meant most of the wolves were right at the fence line. Our highlight was hearing the wolves howl not once, not twice, but THREE times!! It was the most breathtaking sound!!There are a few enclosures that they ask that you do not stop in front of. Please listen to them. They're volunteers and are there to show you a part of nature you will most likely not see anywhere else. There are reason they have rules. Be respectful. You need to wear good walking shoes as the ground is rocky and there is an incline at several points in the tour. Do not wear flip-flops, sandals, heels, etc., unless you are truly comfortable wearing them in a wooded and rocky area. The tour ends at a small, adorable gift shop. There are portable toilets only. They allow pictures, but not professional. No pets (completely understandable). Please read the do/don't on the website.Overall, the private tour was very informative. The sanctuary does a fantastic job taking care of the wolves, and you can tell they are passionate about what they do!Keep in mind, the Wolf Sanctuary is non-profit and is not eligible for most federal grants. They run on donations, fundraisers, and the tours. While they do make improvements, it's slow. If you've ever been a part of a non-profit, you completely understand. This is a wonderful, family-owned Sanctuary, and they do a tremendous job. Almost every guide and person there is volunteer. Ultimately, they exceeded our expectations. Keep in mind, we did a private tour, not public, so you will have a different experience with a different tour. But, for us, you don't want to pass up this experience. In fact, we plan on making this an annual visit, or every other year. We cannot wait to come back!!!

I give it 5 stars because the mission is honorable. They only take in rescue wolves now and do not breed their wolves. The tour guide I had was very knowledgeable. I went on a Saturday morning for a tour which started at 10am. Unfortunately some of the wolves were in distress due to the large tour groups passing by throughout the morning. It was definitely neat and an interesting experience to see wolves so up close with such a variety of different coats. Next time I know to come in the fall rather than the summer because all the shrubbery made it hard to see every wolf. Thought I should add, they have water offered throughout the tour. Also, the gift shop situation could use a little work. Only about 10 people can fit comfortably inside at a time. The items offered to be purchased didn’t seem well thought out. Basics like tshirts, mugs, and stuffed animals. I feel like their missing out on some profit there.

Very informative. The staff are very good at explaining all about the wolves and answering questions. The weather was very hot and humid, so less than ideal. A guide advised that late fall or winter is the best time to see many active wolves. Visitors walk over steep rough ground so be sure to wear good supportive shoes. Also I would not recommend to anyone not physically fit. They only have portable toilets for visitors. Nice gift shop is very small. Water is available along the tour route. The wolves are neutered/spayed,. You will not see any cubs. Highlight of my visit was right at the beginning when all the wolves howled together for several minutes. Lovely sound. Great experience.

My husband and I went on a public tour of the Wolf Sanctuary. I’m leaving five stars because the mission is incredible and our tour guide (Melissa) was VERY knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful tour. However, they kept emphasizing how much better private tours are. My husband and I had wanted a private tour however the only available times were at 7:00 am so we had to opt for a public tour.I even called first to see if another time could be accommodated and the woman I spoke to told me no and was very rude.If they want to emphasize private tours they need to offer them at better times. That said once there we had a wonderful experience.

The good: The enclosures are very clean and well thought out. The wolves and humans are kept safe. Staff were passionate about the Sanctuary and animals. They talked about the history of the property, general wolf facts, and stories about the wolves living there. Despite the heat, we saw wolves in each enclosure and even got a big group howl when an ambulance drove by the property. It was a fun outing to do once.Room for improvement:1.All of the double fencing along the walking path is shiny galvanized metal so it reflects the sun and reduces viewing into the enclosure and makes getting decent photos difficult. Painting the fencing along the tour path black would eliminate this issue.2. It would have cool to have skulls on display in the shop comparing a domestic dog, a wolf dog, and wolf since the tour talks a lot about Jaws and bite pressure... or a pelt that visitors could touch since understandably petting the wolves was not allowed and there was a lot of talk about their fur.

It was really neat to be able to go to the full moon event, and hear the information about wolves in general, and about their wolves in particular. The facilities for wolves were greatly taken care of, and the wolves themselves appeared to be in great shape and well taken care of. The general public areas are lovely and welcoming. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I hope to repeat in the future. 👍👍 two thumbs up from me 😊

I visited the sanctuary this week for my birthday. It has been on my "want-to-do" list for years and overall the visit was very nice and quite educational. The weather was perfect; saw several wolves. They care for a total of 53, but the public tour doesn't go for a very far walk and it only goes past a few of the enclosures. The guide told our group that the private tour is longer (and as a result, more expensive). I did get some very nice pictures of the ones I did see. Heard a few of them bark and some distant howling which was really cool.On my tour there were about 30 people. There was a guide in front and a guide at the rear making sure the group stayed together. At one point we were walking past an enclosure and the guide in front told us that we would be walking slowly past and not stopping because the wolves in that enclosure got stressed with bigger groups stopping. Several people, however, decided to stop at fence and try to take better pictures...at which point the guide in the back very sternly said, "as we said, we are NOT stopping here. Keep moving"!! A little abrupt, but I guess when you deal with large #'s of the public all day, every day, it gets tiring. One person in our group tried to monopolize the guides time and pepper her with questions as well as stories about other sanctuaries he visited, which didn't allow time for many others to ask questions. "There's one in every group, as they say".You need to wear good walking shoes as the ground is rocky and there is an incline at several points in the tour. The tour ends at a very small and pricey gift shop, and then you have to make the walk back up to the parking area where you met your guide to begin tour. There were people in my group who wore sandals, and one wore heels..and they complained about the walking conditions. Don't go in the woods in heels 😆The sanctuary does a fantastic job taking care of their wolves and you can tell they are passionate about what they do!

Absolutely loved our visit! We booked a private tour and were so glad that we did! The wolves are beautiful! It was just the four of us which really allowed for a very personal tour. Our tour guide Mandy was AMAZING!!!! Very friendly and personable. She took us to visit all of the packs and gave a history of every wolf as well as their personality traits. She gave a lot information about wolves in general as well as the history and mission of the sanctuary. She was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. She clearly has a love and affection for the wolves. We didn't feel rushed and were able to spend a good amount of time at each pack enclosure. We were impressed with the amount of space the packs have and how nice their enclosures are and how well they are taken care of. After the tour we were able to visit the gift shop and purchased some t-shirts. We all agreed that our visit was definitely the highlight of our vacation.

Attended the fundraiser. The tour guide was very knowledgeable with her tour content and answered our questions. I learned many new things about the wolves. We were in a group of about 30 to 35 people. The other groups had roughly the same amount of people. Stood waiting for a while for the group ahead of us to move. Wish we had more time to linger with wolves we did see. A few times they began to howl which was very enjoyable to listen to. The gift shop was very small and a little pricey. You had to wait in line to get in and to pay. Maybe they could make an addition onto it to make more room. We didn't have the bonfire because they said it had been too dry and not safe for the neighboring habitats, completely understandable. For the most part, it was an enjoyable experience. Not sure i'd do it again for the 90 minute drive.

I had tickets in November and had a family emergency and they wouldn't refund me so I rebooked for last June on a Saturday night. This is literally the only reason why I came back to Lancaster, was for the wolves. My dumb luck a thunderstorm was looming. Also because it has been so hot and so dry there was not going to be a bonfire - bummer. All of those things happen, no fault of the sanctuary. Now on to the tour, I don't recall her name and she was nice and some feedback. It was a VERY large group, like 20+ people. some were slow walkers, which is fine, but the rest of us had to wait for EVERYONE to catch up before discussing the topics at hand. Also the tour guide was repetitive with a lot of things about the wolves, how they get the wolves, how they are fed, how they are paired etc. It got to a point where I started to walk ahead. The entire tour could have taken 15 minutes - 30 minutes to walk through. So maybe they were stretching it out for the sake of time. I didn't get to see that many wolves as I would have hoped, so that is another reason why I went off on my own. We ended up catching up to the other group so we had to stop and wait for that as well. We were allowed to take pictures but not record videos, which was another bummer. There was a point where all of the wolves were howling at once and I would have wanted to record that breathtaking sound of this magical species. Huge disappointment. That's when I realized we were at the end and just went off on my own.I went into the gift shop, which we were warned was very small, they had cute stuff. The only thing that interesting to me were the hoodie sweatshirts, I have a thing for them and get at least one or two. For my size in the colors I wanted there weren't that many common sizes, so I had to go a size smaller.Overall I'd say this is a one time thing, I was expecting and hoping for more. The pictures I included were the only 4 wolves I was able to see. Checked it off my bucket list at least.

Gosh theres so many great things to say! The geography is gorgeous, the wolves are adorable and the staff are very friendly.I have always loved wolves, and they are still my favorite animal. I have a whole army of wolf plushies(one is from this sactuary!), so my parents took me here to see real wolves. It may still be the best experince of my life. The wolves were beautiful, and my respect for them only grew after this trip. They rescue the wolves, of wolf dogs, from illegal situations. Many places dont allow owning wolves/wolfdogs, and they also treat them badly or dont know how to care for a wolf. The sanctuary rescues them and helps them live happy lives together. Each canine has their own story that the guides tell amazingly. Its so heartwarming to see the wolves be so happy after such tough times. If wolves are paired together, its so sweet to see them sleeping together, licking each other, and caring for each other. The staff is great. Our tour guide (im sorry I cant remember his name) was our tour guide both times! He recognized me the second time cuz I wore their shirt(*´ ˘ `*)Its always a great experience, and Vada was ny fav, shes the sweetest gal youll ever see <3If this place was a song, it would be Running With The Wolves by AURORA

Enjoyed our tours of the Wolf Sanctuary. We did the day tour (in the rain) and the full moon tour. There are more than 50 wolves on the site. The staff shared so much information about each wolf. The best part of the tour was when they were all howling at the same time.We did the day tour in the rain and the temp during the full moon tour was in the 30s so dress appropriately. We also stayed at the Speedwell Forge Bed and Breakfast that is on the same property.Highly recommended it.

Melinda was very knowledgeable and the tour was nicely paced. It was very hot outside so we only saw a few wolves.I liked how Melinda emphasized this is sanctuary about the wolves and the what the wolves need. Part of my hesitation to come here was because I am weary of sanctuaries and explotation of animals but actually here at the wolf sanctuary they take very good care of these animals and work hard to still hold tours while also accommodating for each individual wolfs' preferences and needs. (Some are more shy, some are comfortable around people, etc).

This place is heaven! Denny was our excellent tour guide and was very informative about the sanctuary and all the wolves and wolf dogs. I have volunteered at other sanctuaries in the past and was very impressed with the care and affection heaped on these animals. Hopefully a future volunteer.

I have visited this place annually with family and friends, and I absolutely love this Sanctuary! I stumbled upon it years ago, and fell completely in love with the Wolves & Staff. These Volunteers dedicate so much time to preserving these beautiful wolves and you can see how enthusiastic they are about Preserving and Saving these Majestical Creatures. They also offer free entry to military/le, which as a currently serving military member, was very thankful for. (If you are military/le, you can still make a donation for your entry.)The wolves are VERY well cared for and the facility is VERY well maintained. The Wolf Adoption Program is especially sweet. I adopted Solo years ago and did every year until her passing. I def miss seeing her running with her pack!

We went to the fundraiser they had last weekend. The wolves are well taken care of! It was really crowded....good for the fundraiser. Some staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, yelling, but I think it was the first time they had a big event... but id like to go back to learn more about the packs on a regular tour. But it is was a really nice day :)

I recently visited the Wolf Sanctuary over the weekend, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The weather was beautiful, setting the perfect backdrop for observing these majestic creatures. The wolves were out and about, making their presence known, which added an exciting element to the visit. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and provided insightful information about the wolves, patiently answering all our questions. Moreover, the sanctuary's dedication to protecting endangered wolves is commendable, and it's evident they're doing an exceptional job in their conservation efforts. Overall, it was an unforgettable day surrounded by nature's most fascinating predators.

Such a unique experience! My best girlfriend and I went towards the end of the pandemic for a little girls' trip for a full moon ceremony at the sanctuary. It's such a great learning experience for all ages and magical to see these incredible animals up close! I printed photos, bought a shirt, coloring book, and a prayer with all the wolf's names and photos for my children, I can't wait to go back to revisit for a family day trip! Absolutely recommend!

WE LOVE Sight and Sound! The facility is gorgeous, the workers are very friendly and the shows are heart-warming, and stupendous!! We've seen two of their annual shows and we can't wait for Daniel!! We will be back. Worth every dime!

We went and watched Daniel! Wow!!! what an experience!! There is a lot of time and effort that goes into this show. It is phenomenal! The theater was packed, but it was a Saturday. We were blessed to be able to get tickets. Online said sold out, but we called, and they had a few tickets available. My 8 year old loved it! He was enthralled the whole time! We had an aisle seat, and soldiers and animals came down right next to him on their way up to the stage. We had a great time.

We've been coming to this theater for at least 10 years, and have seen nearly all of their shows live during that time. While all of their shows are nothing short of spectacular, their presentation of "Noah" ten years ago truly stood out in our minds as setting the bar just that much higher. Quite honestly, you're not likely to see theatrical presentations of this type done with such a high level of performance, execution, and technological wizardry outside of a Sight & Sound Theater. And the biblical performances are scripted and presented in a way to make them easily understandable as well as entertaining. It wasn't until our most recent visit in August to see their presentation of "Daniel" that we experienced a show like no other show we've seen here. The set design, costuming, actor performances, and show execution have us believing that "Daniel" is THE show you must see. If you were able to see the "Daniel" live-performance show streamed to local theaters during the recent Labor Day holiday weekend, then you have some idea of what a live show at Sight & Sound is like. As good as that theater experience was, being here in person to see a live show takes that experience to an even higher level. As of early September, it looks like there are still select show dates available before the last presentation of "Daniel" on 12/31/24. Tickets purchased in advance are required for all shows. As other reviewers have commented, we've already purchased our tickets for the return of "Noah" in 2025 as seats were selling quickly and we didn't want to miss the return of that very memorable show. We're also bringing two family members who want to see that show for the very first time. If you have an opportunity to see a show at a Sight & Sound theater in the near future, take advantage of that. Either "Daniel" or "Noah" would be two very memorable experiences that I would highly recommend seeing.

Beautiful Architecture Is What Makes This Theatre Absolutely Gorgeous. The stage sets so colorful, engaging, and stunningly spectacular. The animals that are incorporated within the performance are so well trained, and wonderfully kept in terms of cleanliness and grooming, they flow so naturally within the creative theme, it is inspiring to experience. Definitely a 🌟🌟🌟🌟 professional two-and-a-half (including 20-minute intermission) production.

I was blessed with a free ticket from a friend and greatly enjoyed my experience at Sight and Sound for the first time! We saw Daniel and the production was spectacular! From the acting, the animals, the set, added comedy, live vocal performance, and of course accuracy to the original story in the Bible, it’s definitely a production you want to catch before the year ends. I’m a Christian, but I think people of all backgrounds will enjoy this show and will experience first hand the beauty of God’s Word coming to life! I also recommend trying their glazed almonds! They kind of taste like little cinnamon buns!

From the sophisticatedly engineered stage, the songs, the costumes and the acting; everything is top notch and absolutely worth your time! We’re planning to go again this year and I can hardly wait. We saw Moses. In December we will be seeing Daniel! We’re very excited!

This was our first time to Sight and Sound. We saw Daniel and was blown away by the multimedia presentation. The talent of the actors and actresses was amazing. The sets were phenomenal and beautiful. We've already booked to go back next year and see Noah. I've tried to explain how wonderful our experience was but honestly it's beyond words. If you haven't been you need to go. It's better than anything I've ever seen before, including Broadway. We arrived about 2 hours early. Parking was super easy. The lobby was open and we enjoyed walking around, taking some pictures, (no pics or video allowed during the play), and had plenty of time to enjoy concessions and gift shop.

Phenomenal show! The sets, voices, and special effects were wonderful. Staff and security were pleasant and added to the experience. Also, everyone in our group found at least one message to take away and learn from. I agree that the Sight and Sound theater company is far better than any Broadway shows in New York. It is a wow factor. I have seen a few of the production, and the story of Daniel was amazing. The production (lights, props, graphics, sound, that was a part of the musical Having live animals on the set brought their experiences to life. The singing was so melodious. They definitely brought the Bible to life. I love the song "There is none like Babylon, we are one." The highlight of the show was the invitation to share the plan of salvation. I highly recommend the music of Jesus, David, Joseph, and Noah. I can't get enough of these shows. The icing on the cake is embellishment on all you can eat eatery.

The bathrooms are plentiful and clean. There's a cafe, and the pierces are decent. There are hot beverages and cold, treats and light fare. The 20min intermission is hardly enough, but staff do work diligently to get you through the lines. They start exactly on time, so really get there early. No blame, but we arrived at the door with tickets at 7:02PM, and we were kept out until 7:20PM. I was upset, but granted, we should have been early. Lesson learned. Next year is "Noah" so I'll be on time 😊.There's ample parking. Have fun.

The Strasburg Rail Road is a tourist attraction located in Ronks, PA that offers rides on old-fashioned locomotive trains. The railway cuts across the Amish country, providing passengers with beautiful views while they travel.
This was so much fun and an absolutely beautiful ride. The people who work here and run the train were absolutely the greatest. The sites we saw we gorgeous and seeing how hard the farmers worked in the fields was truly amazing. It was such an incredibly hot day but they were out there working the fields. My son had a blast on this ride and the train was in such beautiful condition. I would love to ride this train again and even longer! It was such a great ride.

Wonderful nostalgic ride. I was lucky and the weather was fantastic on the day I visited, so I enjoyed a marvelous ride in one of the open air carriages. That also meant that combined with the steam whistle, most of the announcements on the train about historic and current details of the route got drowned out, but I won’t hold that against them (it was my choice to go for the open-air car after all). The ride is just long enough to see a bit of landscape and enjoy the old steam loco without overstaying its welcome. I had a wonderful time.

Very fun train ride! We ordered tickets for the dinning car and enjoyed a nice lunch along the ride. Heads up, drinks are not included with the meals and they will charge you separately for drinks. However, you can bring your own drinks on the train. The lady that served us was very friendly and answered any questions we had. The ride was 45 minutes out and back; not too long or short.

Was super excited to try Strasburg. It had been on my must do list for some time. The train was quite nice. We were in a first class parlor car 88 which was not open air and had refreshment service as well as snacks. That was enjoyable. What I didn't like was I couldn't hear what the announcer was saying at all. The narrated tour was not heard. Unless you were seated right in the middle of the car it was impossible to hear. Also the ride isn't actually 45 minutes. You are on the train that long but there are times you are stopped. I guess that's protocol. It was enjoyable but not what I expected. On a side note if you have young children you may want to choose another car other than this one such as the open air. Parents of children in this car on that day were opening the windows for their children. Not a good idea and it hinders the enjoyment of the other guests on board.

We took the dining car and it was beautiful! You do receive your own private table. Drinks are separate so you have to pay for those. Our waitress was great and the food was ok. We got the beef n cheddar sandwich and the BBQ chicken. They were a little cold but not bad. Next time we will experience another car and catch lunch in the area afterwards. 45 minute ride through beautiful country land. We truly enjoyed it!

We got to the train station four minutes before we were supposed to board and they closed up shop and didn't let us on.We had to wait an hour till the next train which turned out to be fine. The train came right on time and we had no issue boarding. We sat in coach and the cars were nice and clean with comfortable couches. The worker by our cars name was Dylan and he was wonderful! He answered the children's questions and even agreed to take pictures with them .He worked very efficiently! The ride wasn't so long and had beautiful views but you don't get to see too much up close of Amish households. They have have a nice gift shop and a well stocked cafe where we bought drinks from. It's nice that they dont put too many people on a car so there is ample space for everyone. Its also nice that they have a audio explaining sights we pass .I would suggest not sitting in the first or last cars because the Smell of smoke from the conductors car is very strong and the sound from the horn is very very strong and it is sounded at every rail road crossing multiple times. It's also very cool to watch the conductor move his car from the front of the train to the back of the train by detaching himself from the first car and driving to the last car.We also got to see the Amtrak zooming by with passengers on it.All in all it was a wonderful experience for a relaxed trip to sight see in Lancaster county

The sweet Conductor Steve played us a Johnny cash song on his harmonica and he was the most adorable man ever. I will never forget. The photographer was a sweet man as well.

I remember coming here and to the museum across the road when I was little and it's fun to take my own kids now. We really enjoy the little shops and playground, just wish the train ride was longer. It's a great way to introduce young kids to train rides and now the kids can't wait to go on another one. The area is great and there are so many other things to do to make it a whole day trip.

Recently attended a A Day Out with Thomas event and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend to anyone into trains. The Strasburg Railroad has nice historical passenger cars and the workers play their roles to perfection. They have a lot for kids to do as well. Hand crank rail cars, a small mini steam engine train for kids and parents, and a nice playground along with shops and food stations.

The narrative train ride was great. We rode in the dining car and had a satisfying meal. The train was well maintained, the staff pleasant and knowledgeable. The children and I enjoyed every part of the property and shops.

I brought my son down for the "Day Out With Thomas, and we had an absolutely wonderful day, I thought it was a very special thing they do for the kids. And as an adult there was still plenty to see and do to enjoy. I will DEFINITELY be coming back next year, hopefully sooner if I can get a sitter for the Halloween train ride

Such a great day with the family at the Strasburg Rail Road! We really enjoyed the train ride, I wish the speaker was a little louder in the open air car. This is a must do if you are in the area. We enjoyed the general store and toy shop. All amenities were clean and new. My 3 year old really enjoyed herself. We will definitely return!

Between myself, and a friend, we brought six kids on a ride in the dining car. It was the highlight of our trip!! The workers were so nice on and off the train and the facilities at the station were immaculate. The train itself was clean, cool, smelled nice, and was just a joy. We had kids ages 4-12 and all had a great time. The food was good and we have zero regrets. I highly recommend doing the train museum across the street. There is a play area with electric trains that was so fun.

It was great seeing this RR again after 14 years. The ride was short, but understandable. We rode in the parlor car. Very nice car and comfy. Going downhill with the steam was the main highlight for me. Plus, they have other things near by like the train museum, food, a small petting zoo and of course shopping. There's also a show program. But I think that's a little cheesy. Overall, this is still a nice experience after being open for like 60+ years. I would definitely go again.

While in Pennsylvania, we took our grandson to ride the steam train. It was a great ride and we all enjoyed it. We chose the open air to get a great view of the beautiful countryside. He loved seeing the steam, the train whistle, the conductors in uniform, and the switching of the engine from one end of the train to the other. A great experience!

We had a great time. The old steam engines are still amazing. We took the morning run and the weather was perfect before it got hot. We chose the open air car and we're glad we did. The ride takes you through open farm land with amazing views.

I am in love for this beautiful place. The store not only has everything you need for trips, hunting and related equipments, but also has experts to tell you a lot of tips or experiences that they know. Moreover, it’s very spacious, clean and well-organized here. I highly recommend it!

Okay, first of all, let me start off by explaining that my fiancé and I are our very outdoor enthusiast. We hunt and fish probably year round and yes, I know a lot of you are going to say you can't hunt year round, but that's not true. We're from South Carolina, our deer season opens. August the 15th and doesn't go out until January. The first we keep active game cameras year round in South Carolina, we're allowed to bait year round show when we're not in the woods, we're in the water fishing and this store is almost an outdoorsman's heaven. Very good staff, friendly, eager to help. Hey, we ended up with 2 new credit cards even ha ha. But a very clean, enjoyable atmosphere and the Taxidermist work was unbelievable We could have stayed there for hours and the bronze statue out front was awesome, and I would also like to give a Word of encouragement out to the young woman who helped us Julie. We had an excellent time and would look forward to being back again.God bless and have a blessed egg We had an excellent time and would look forward to being back again. God bless and have a blessed day.

This is by far the best outdoorman/ woman store. It has everything from apparel, ammo, activities for kids, informational displays, ponds to entertain kids and adults. So much information, and inventory its absolutely amazing! Love this place! And this location!

This place is like Mecca for any and all things outdoors by land or water (and perhaps even air since there is a bush plane hung up in the ceiling). Massive inventory for hunting, fishing, camping, etc. If you are into arrows, hooks or bullets, then this is your one-stop shop. Amazing wildlife displays, too, making it a worthwhile natural history museum in its own right. Helpful staff, clean bathrooms and filtered water station, too.
Boomer C — Google review
An absolutely massive hunting/fishing/sports store that has an incredible inventory. Be amazed by all the preserved animals on display. The sheer volume of this place is worth the visit. Be sure to go up to the 2nd floor for the view… and then head towards the back of the store to the old school shoutout arcade style game… that’s sure to please all the “kids”! Plenty of friendly staff available to answer all your questions and direct you where you need to go to find what you’re looking for!
Dan S — Google review
Staff is great very helpful, the store is beautiful it's literally breathe taking when you first walk in, so much to look at. I wish there was one closer to me but it's worth the drive. Prices are good they do price match with online stores and the selection is vast. Tons of parking, and the pick up for large items is quick. Don't forget that beautiful scenery.
FRANCES C — Google review
I don’t really have a need for any of the products in this store, but I still rarely leave empty handed. Thoroughly enjoy being able to take my little one here to kill some time. You basically get a free aquarium and zoo experience (even though most of the non-aquatic animals don’t move around very much). Spend some time and enjoy the outdoors in the comfort of an air conditioned building - leave with some beef jerky, candied nuts or a souvenir hat. Good times, for sure.

If you are interested in looking at some stuffed animals in real life, you found the right place! Cool fish aquarium as well. Can be highly educational for the children. I know I came here as a child years ago and was blown away by the animals. Now, as an adult, I cannot help but wonder how any of these were acquired. I can only hope by ethical methods. They’ve got anything you want for outdoor purposes, be it kayaks, fishing rods, tents. We quite enjoy the store. Nice parking lot too, quite spacious.

Hiking Outfitter, Light water craft store, Camping Store, Archery shop, Hunting And Fishing Expo, Gun Store, Outdoor Education Center, Natural History Museum, General Store, and Restaurant - even a little bit of a game store. This is unlike anything else - It’s Cabela’s. That’s really the only way to explain it. You definitely have to see this yourself. Highly recommend!

A little too much with the greeters. I came in and there were like 4 people all greeting me and asking me if I was a club member and such ALL at once as soon as I walked in. I actually couldnt even figure out who was asking what because they all spoke at once. I felt rude but I ended up just saying “no” because I couldn’t figure out who I was addressing or who said what. Then I was said “ sorry but that was too many people at once”To which some of them at that point wouldn’t even make eye contact anymore and started acting awkward. I’m assuming they are being pressured by management to be more aggressive at the door and that is why they got awkward like that. ( I was in retail and sales my self I know how it can be). And if that’s the case I’d recommend management reconsider that. Being bombarded by multiple associates as soon as I step foot in a store like that was almost enough for me to turn around and leave. I’m sure there are other points in the transaction you can bring up your store card. Like when I just checked out with $200 worth of stuff. That would have been a more appropriate time to push a store card. ( I still wouldn’t have taken it but still)

We took our son for the first time and I’m just sorry it took this long to visit. What an incredible store for the outdoors person to even to just walk through. From the amazing aquarium to the mountain of taxidermy and the other spaces you can peruse through. My husband enjoyed the shooting gallery and was overwhelmed by the amount of hunting and fishing gear. From beginners to the extremely experienced you can find anything you need. And if you don’t fish or hunt there is a vast camping area, bird feeders, dog treats and delicious fudge!

An amazing store the size is incredible you can spend the whole day there. The display of indigenous fish is awesome beautiful aquariums an examples of local wildlife pretty awesome. They have a little bit of everything for everybody. They also have some pretty amazing deals on certain items. However if you're in the firearms they have just about everything you can think of the only problem is their prices are outrageous. Still an awesome store to go to.

FirstEnergy Stadium, formerly known as Municipal Memorial Stadium, is the oldest park in the Eastern League and home to the Reading Phillies. With a seating capacity of 10,000, this classic minor league ballpark has been hosting baseball games for over 70 years. The stadium offers great views of the game and has received awards for its attendance levels. It's a perfect place for families to enjoy a fun night out with various activities for kids and adults alike.
It was fun getting together with our family and church community. Park was clean and well attended too. Good variety of food, drinks and sweets. Fireworks were great! Thank you!

Second time here, came for the Mega fireworks with my daughter. Ticket prices are still very reasonable. And the food is priced pretty good as well. It was SpongeBob theme night which was a bonus as well. The fireworks were great! I'll definitely be back for more Megaworks fireworks and theme nights.

Great ballpark to take the family. Parking is free and tickets are super cheap, although I typically end up with free general admission tickets. They have lots to keep kids entertained during the game and throughout their concourse. You can take a stroller into the park and if you don’t need it the whole time you can leave it at guest services and pick it up at the end of the game.

Great AA baseball stadium. Plenty of nearby parking. Fun atmosphere just inside the gates before going into the seats. Food and drink areas, games for children and clean bathrooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. The ballpark did not a standard "cookie cutter" look. Unique seating areas and beyond the outfield fence had the look of being in an industrial area but in a good way. Fun evening and will certainly be back for more

I attended my first game here with my husband and sons. They've all been there for games before, but I was happy to join this time. The stadium is very nice and the food and beverage options were great. My youngest son enjoyed the kids play area with a bounce house and inflatable slide. The fireworks show at the end of the night, was the perfect ending!

I don't know why I haven't gone to a Fightin' Phils baseball game since I was a kid, but I've missed out! The baseball game was fun, there was plenty of food, and the drinks never stopped coming. We watched the fireworks after the game and had a blast. Time to create a new pastime.

Built in 1950, this is a great park to watch a game! It feels like a real ballpark, well maintained, lots of concessions with an old time feel. Walking by the first base line concessions look and feels like a midway boardwalk.Prices were reasonable. Jumbo hotdogs were tasty! Vendors walk around the stadium selling pretzels, crackerjacks, etc. lots for kids to do - there’s even a pool in the outfield.Walk around inside and you can read the history of the park on the walls. The ballpark is accessible, and everyone is very friendly and accommodating of any special needs. There are parking lots around the ballpark.

What an awesome, wholesome evening we spent at First Energy Stadium watching the Reading Phillies! There were loads of families in attendance. All you had to do was observe the shining eyes of the little kids as they greeted mascots and Star Wars stormtroopers to know that core memories were being made! We chose to stop and eat a hoagie beforehand, as it's important to know that no outside food or beverages are allowed in the stadium. Between every inning there was a game or a contest to occupy. From boy scouts collecting trash, to a man selling 50/50 chances, to food vendors calling to the crowd, there was always something going on.To top it off, they had a fabulous fireworks show to celebrate the 4th of July! Great fun, and two tickets were only $24. Go, and bring the kids, you won't regret it!

The Reading Fightin Phils fight opponents like I fight crime - fiercely. Visited “Baseballtown” USA to see the Fightins (Phillies AA team) play the Portland Flying Seadogs (Red Sox AA team). It was a special night - Batman Night! The entire team wore Batman Jerseys. The crazy hotdog vendor sang take me out to the ballgame in Batman’s voice. Their team store even personalized a BatmanJawn Fightins Jersey just for me. In the team store, I got my picture atop Rodrigo, the ostrich that the “crazy hotdog vendor” rides. One of the many highlights of the night. The stadium is beautiful. Weekend games are especially crowded. If you buy general admission tickets for an evening game, be sure to get there early and sit on the 3rd base side. That will keep the sun from burning your retinas like SupermanJawn. If you don't want to risk your car being hit by a fowl ball, park closer to the main road. The main entrance to the park will spit you out along the first base side. You can travel underneath the Grand strand to get as far as left field. A kiddie swimming pool in right field, brand new event center in center field, and all you can eat buffet in left field - what more could you ask for?Don't miss their MEGAblast fireworks shows, always a hit.Reading PA has had a baseball team since 1883 (before Batman existed) The stadium opened in 1951, and it has been the Phillies affiliate since 1967. Here's to many more years of Fightins baseball in Baseballtown, USA! Go Phils!

It was my first time. Embarrassing, because I've lived in Reading on and off throughout my life. I was shocked at the severely overpriced game shirts. 89.00 for an average quality stripped button down. I've found fave football jerseys, authentic NHL for about half that, and the quality is about average. It was very disappointing. Food was priced as expected for a sports arena. Nice place, just severely overpriced with the exception of a game ticket.

Went here this spring and this past winter and loved it both times! Beautiful flowers, plants, fountains, and lights! A great place to take your family, boyfriend or girlfriend, or friends to spend quality time together and make lasting memories. First time to Longwood Gardens... not my cup of tea, but I must say, it is a really nice manicured property. We were a party of ten, and we all had a fun time here making new memories together. This property is HUGE (almost 1,100 acres huge)! The map is nice, but I wish the signage or the map would have an image or description of what each of the sights are.Be prepared for a bit of walking, I walked over 10,000 steps and do bring some liquids to stay hydrated. The fountain show should not be missed. Ask for the schedule on the day that you visit. My favorite were the orchids, as you can see from my photos, they are beautiful. The tree house is another amazing structure and is great to hang out in so one can cool off a bit on a bright and sunny day.Parking lot (free) is huge, too. If you want a short walk to the Gardens, get here very early as it does fill up fast.

It is so beautiful. It is also very big. Even though there were several people there, many times it didn't feel like it because of how vast it was. My favorite was the Conservatory Gardens. Truly gorgeous. The staff were kind and helpful. The bathrooms in the conservatory were in a wall of plants. A fun kids area with water and plants. You cannot leave once you enter so don't forget anything in the car. Food was okay. They offer different options to accommodate allergies or preferences. I tried the cauliflower buffalo wrap with vegan ranch. I'm not vegan but it was pretty good. The Mac and cheese was really good.

The gardens are beautiful. They are a work of art. The combination of colors along some of the walking paths are spectacular. My hat is off to the people who designed the color scheme. Take time to visit the old pump house and read some of the history. Also take in the short film inside the home. Explains how this all started and how it will continue in the future. A new conservatory will open soon and looks incredible. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We went on a tour with Joanne and she was outstanding. No matter what time of year you visit you will find it to be a great experience. Also very peaceful and calming effect some of the gardens offer. Sit awhile and enjoy.

Beautiful gardens! We enjoyed the fountain show and the home museum - there's also an informative film in the home. We enjoyed a lovely walk through the different areas of the garden!Don't bother with the gift shop, though - in my opinion, it's quite expensive and has very few unique items.

We got there early and got scooters and we explored the outdoors. My in laws loved it, there are still flowers outside but it was cold with the wind. Bring coats and blankets. We ate lunch and the mushroom soup is to die for. Then we went in the conservatory. The musical guys wanted to see the 10,000 pipe organ. We went to see the orchids. Oh and I got pictures of the Wood family in front of the Wood tree. Named after the man who discovered it. Gail did not want to leave the orchid room. Her phone died from taking pictures. Then we had chili dinner in bread bowls and finally we saw the lighted fountain show. It was sooo worth it.

The Longwood Gardens is undoubtedly a dreamy destination that you cannot miss. Here, the art of horticulture reaches its peak, and the breathtaking garden designs leave every visitor feeling rejuvenated. As you step into the garden, the meticulously cared-for plants surround you, and it seems that each flower and each leaf has a story to tell. Strolling along the winding paths, every step reveals a vivid landscape that compels you to grab your camera and continuously capture those enchanting moments. In this sea of flowers, various blooms are thoughtfully labeled, allowing you to enjoy a visual feast while also learning rich plant knowledge, making you feel like a student of nature. Each plant boasts its unique characteristics, with vibrant colors and delightful fragrances that bring endless surprises. The indoor garden area is even more astonishing, where gardeners skillfully use a variety of plants to create different spatial atmospheres, making you feel as if you've entered a magical botanical kingdom. The air here is filled with a subtle floral scent, and you can quietly appreciate these carefully designed landscapes, feeling the allure of nature. As night falls, the 9:15 PM music fountain show will be the highlight of your visit. At that moment, the perfect fusion of water and fire, accompanied by delightful music, appears to present you with a soul-stirring spectacle. The fountain dances to the rhythm of the notes, resembling a magnificent fireworks display, where every splash of water creates ripples in your heart, leaving you with unforgettable memories. Longwood Gardens is truly a magical place that makes you want to linger.

Beautiful gardens and serene settings. Best visited on days when the weather is comfortable. I was not able to stay for the evening fountain show, but the daytime show was nice. There is not enough that can said to explain the beauty of this wonderful place. Not only is it one of the most beautiful places I have seen in the U.S. but the cleanliness and upkeep is second to none. The Italian and French influences are abundant. We felt as if we were in Europe. If you plan to see the whole thing in one day bring your best walking shoes. It’s a bit overwhelming at how much there is to see. There is plenty of shade for those hot days. They have plenty of clean restrooms (family and private). They have a couple of options for dining. You can grab a quick bite or have an elegant sit down. Overall it’s a great place to spend a day and well worth the admission fee. They recommend purchasing tickets in advance on their website. The whole place is pretty much handicap accessible. They have free manual wheelchairs or you can rent a motorized scooter.

I’m definitely getting our membership here to enjoy on our relaxed Sundays 💐🌲🌳

There are so many beautiful, colorful flowers here! There is also an amazing fountain show put to music that is shown every other hour. If you are someone who likes wildflowers, there is a nice meadow with a trail running through it. If you like the woods, there is a trail in the woods. Or if you'd rather be inside, there is plenty to see in the conservatory! All that to say, there is something for everyone!! They have some huge bells in a tower that chime the hour. You can climb part way up the tower, and watch a video about how the bells got there. There are restrooms strategically placed around so that you are never far from one. My favorite feature is the orchid room! They always have a big variety of all sizes and shapes of orchids. They have quite a few fountains scattered around surrounded by flowers. I would definitely recommend getting a membership! If you get a membership, you can enter as many times as you want for a year! You can get a membership for up to 9 people, plus two guests.

Brandywine River Museum of Art is a museum that was once a gristmill and showcases works by famous artists such as Howard Pyle, N.C. Wyeth, Andrew Wyeth, and Jamie Wyeth. The museum has big windows that offer scenic views of the surrounding area. It is located in a historic region close to other notable attractions like Longwood Gardens and Brandywine Battlefield.
This museum is a rare treasure. It has an excellent collection of local art, especially from the Wyeths, well-curated and displayed in a handsome building on lovely grounds. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The temporary exhibit was quite interesting, and of course I also enjoyed the charming model train display. The museum is the perfect size, neither too large nor too small, and you can comfortably see everything in a reasonable amount of time. To top it all off, the food from the museum cafe is surprisingly good. I’m always happy to make the trip.

Inspirational. Through my local library, I downloaded a free pass for the museum. Three floors with amazing pieces. Currently under construction but experience was not inhibited. Staff is very kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. Bathrooms very clean!

We had a fantastic time at the museum. My three teenage boys loved it. The art there is so beautiful. Prior to the visit I asked my kids to look up N.C., Andrew and Jamie Wyeth to see which artist's style that they liked the best and why. It was really interesting to hear their answers and seeing them locate some of their favorite artist's works and paintings that they had not seen yet was really cool. The staff are super nice. The gift shop is large and has something for everyone. There are sitting areas that have an amazing view of the Brandywine through a wall of glass. The grounds look beautiful and you can walk around them and picnic there but we didn't do that on our visit because it was very hot that day. I found out that they rotate some of their art and while we were there one of the rooms was closed for maintenance. They also have trains and other things that are set up for Christmas so we are excited to go back!

The Brandywine River Museum is in a beautiful nineteenth century mill building in Chadds Ford. It has three floors of amazing American art collection. It is home to three generations of Wyeth’s: N.C Wyeth- the great American illustrator; N.C’s son Andrew Wyeth- one of the most outstanding 20th century artists; and Andrew’s son Jamie Wyeth- another great American artist who has a gift of transcending art into something beyond what you see!My recent visit to see Jamie Wyeth’s “Unsettled” was true to its title. Jamie has a wild imagination that wanders freely from past to present. I loved his use of bright colors to convey different emotions. I also enjoyed his "Screen Door Sequence” which depicted the people who had a major influence on his his life and are no longer living. One screened door showed his grandfather N.C. Wyeth gathering apples at an orchard; and another of Andy Warhol and his dog Archie inside a door that’s decorated with stars and stripes.I found Jamie’s art to be mesmerizing! It kept me looking for the deeper meaning behind each art piece. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and highly recommend this museum.

Great little museum about 45 minutes from Philly. A nice permanent collection and they have interesting visiting exhibitions as well. Perfect amount of art for those who can't spend long in a museum (e g., kids...) and it is nestled in the Brandywine valley so you can pair a visit with some outdoor time.

I was in the area visiting relatives. One took me to the Brandywine. We had a great time enjoying art created by three generations of the Wyeth family, and the original art created for covers and illustrations in classic books that I recognized. The next day, we weren't back with my grandson, and he noticed many details in the art that we had missed. It was an excellent experience.

Fantastic smallish museum, well worth a visit. With several special exhibits available at time of visit we saw N. C. Wyeth, Andrew Wyeth and Jamie Wyeth works that were fabulous! The museum itself is lovely, in a wooded setting. The cafe has an outstanding crab cake sandwich on a toasty brioche roll. Eat that.

Great museum that overlooks the Brandywine creek. Very cozy inside and lots of places to sit down and watch the creek. They display different artwork some from local high schools.

Great place for local art, the famous Wyeth family, and rotating exhibits. Beautiful views of the Brandywine River! We were there in time to see the Christmas train village which was very nice.

Stunning to visit, amazing cafe, and we were lucky enough to have our Wedding reception here! Rebecca, Justin, and team are simply amazing. Every detail was attended to with laidback professionalism and my goodness did the food meet, then exceed, our expectations! The space is stunning, art inspiring, and the staff is beyond accommodating and kind. Thank you all!!

I would come here again and again. The architecture of the spaces allows one to appreciate the discovery of how works are curated and arranged. I look forward to going to the Farnsworth in Rockland, Maine to see this exhibit there this 2024 summer.

If you are a fan of the Wyeth family art this is an absolute must. The museum is beautiful and has a great array of artists and exhibits. They also have tours you can take of the farm and studio.

Beautiful and small museum worth a look. The river runs next to the museum. Clean and lovely cafe. Works of Wyeth prevalent. This museum can be seen in under an hour. We spent around two hours here.I have a joint ROAM/NARM membership and I got in for free. I believe you need just roam or narm. They are the reciprocal museum agreements for North America. You don't need both. I paid $20 for my friend.

Bright, interesting layout, friendly docents, easy to navigate, ample parking, family friendlyThe cafe food is delicious and though a bit pricey, worth it. The gift has a lovely set up and is conveniently is placed before the Cafe. There are discounts for teachers which is a nice perk!

Great regional art museum. We visited to see the seasonal Brandywine Railroad train display. Really impressive. Perfect for kids of all ages. Enjoyed the galleries as well. They had a temporary exhibit on children's book illustration that was quite good. The permanent exhibits are also very interesting and show the influence of the Wyath family on art traditions. Nice cafe and gift shop. Beautiful grounds as well. Plan at least a couple hours for a visit.

We really enjoyed our visit. Wonderful exhibit of Andrew Wyeth watercolors that I wish could remain on display permanently. Inspired views of the river from the floor to ceiling windows. Food at the Cafe was surprisingly good ( but I would have liked to not see all the disposable packaging and utensils). Parking was easy this time of year (winter) but I remember it can be a challenge in the summer.

From N.C.Wyeth the illustrator, then his son Andrew , known for painting Christina's World", to his son Jamie.a current fine artist. There is also other Wyeth family members represented and a few other artists. A memorable experience for all to be had .

Shopping
King of Prussia Mall is a grand and sophisticated shopping center that boasts over 400 retailers, as well as food courts and restaurants. The indoor mall features natural lighting from skylights, making it an inviting environment for shoppers. There is a luxury section dedicated to high-end stores, and visitors can easily spend several hours exploring the vast space. The mall has a good mix of stores catering to various needs but lacks a Uniqlo store.
One of the largest mall in terms of space and no.of stores in US and laregest in the state. Lot of Branded stores and showrooms which attracts people from all age. Well maintained and organized parking, wash rooms and family rooms. Plenty of instruction/information board in each floor/building. Kids play area also there. Very big food court with lot of international cuisine options. Definitely worth visiting mall with family in the region.

I spoke with my wife before typing up this review and we agreed that yes while this mall is great and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit as a regular paycheck to paycheck family we felt less like patrons and more like sightseers. That is really the only real reason for the 3 star rating. It was quite a bit to high end for us. So I hope you enjoy the pictures of our mainly sightseeing trip to King of Prussia Mall and maybe they will help you make up your mind if you were planning a visit. Personally I do recommend a visit especially if you have never been because if nothing else exploring the mall with the family was very fun and a great way to spend the day.

Neat, clean and massive mall in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania near Philadelphia. They have almost all major clothing stores, designer brand store and some large anchor department/retail stores. Plenty of parking spaces outside. Good options for food in food court or the many restaurants around the mall. I enjoyed walking around and checking out stores.

King Of Prussia, being the top three biggest malls in America, has everything. One can say that you’ll get lost or exhausted trying to uncover everything this mall has to offer, cause you will. Built with such elegance, King of Prussia will have everything you have on your shopping list, from numerous clothing stores on each block to a food stand on every corner you turn, it’s hard not to get bored with all the activities there are to do in this mall. With an ample amount of parking and food courts offered on each floor, there’s a store that will capture the attention of anyone, no matter the age you are, there’s a store for you. Furthermore, if you’re more of a look-and-walk person, then this mall is for you, with its 2.9 million square feet, this mall will have you walking like you’re hiking for a good hour or two.As a person who comes here once in a full moon, it’s always a wonderful experience to be in a mall that offers an ample amount of choices of stores compared to other local malls and many activities and attractions to look at while looking around the mall. I recommend coming here and taking your time if you’re looking around this mall for the first time and exploring every area this mall has to offer.
Eric J — Google review
The mall is really confusing to navigate. That’s really why I’m giving it 3 stars. Me & my mom were lost for 2 hours & the workers aren’t even able to instruct you. As we came to find out, where you end up in the mall depends on which staircase you take to go up or down. Very confusing & you’ll have to walk at least 30min to get to your desired “staircase.” It’s not even that it’s a tiring walk, it’s just inconvenient. The mall definitely needs maps inside. There is a lot to do inside though: massages, 2 food courts, most of any type of store you can think of, and there are sections for kids to play. They have starbucks & La Colombe in terms of cafes. Also, the pressed protein shake pictured here does not taste good at all.

Last week, I visited here. As an international student, I sometimes find malls in the US to be quite simple, but this mall is truly grand and luxurious. Additionally, there is free parking with ample capacity and a spacious area. Some sources say that this is the third-largest mall in the USA, and I believe it because I was exhausted from walking around and still didn’t see everything.

We took a road trip to see this mall. It was a nice scenic route car ride with no tolls, no traffic and about 2 hours from Baltimore. The mall is HUGE. If you really wanna see it; plan to stay overnight or make another trip back. High end to mainstream; you will find it here. The mall is clean and bright. The Macy’s was really nice; and if you are from Baltimore you know we have Sub Par Macy’s; I always have to leave Baltimore to find a really good Macy’s. This mall is nicer than most.

Been to this large mall many times it’s different every time because you cannot figure out how these stores stay in business there are empty and usually they don’t always see new stores. That’s what keeps it. Interesting mall is very clean organized and lots of variety of stores and restaurants. They have certain stores which you don’t see at many malls.Lots of high-end stores and some casual stores definitely spend some time there! One of our definitely the largest retail malls in the country.

Mall is enormous. Very clean. Was visiting the area from Pittsburgh and had to stop. Has a variety of stores. A ton of high end places if that’s up your alley. Had a really good Mango Gelato (I have absolutely no idea what the name of the place is) It was a bit overwhelming though, and we had to use our gps to get back to the car. Who gets lost in a mall, we most certainly do lol

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend last month to go to the Apple Store for an in store pick up, and this Mall was honestly way more than what I expected it to be, it’s a very big mall, 3 stories high, there’s plenty of stores to shop at from designer stores to regular chain stores like bath and body works, Victoria secret and Auntie Anne’s etc…. The mall was very nice and clean there’s is plenty of food options to eat. You can literally spend hours in here just walking around. Wonderful mall as a whole, will definitely be back again!!

What’s interesting about KOP isn’t the fact that it’s the third largest mall in the country. It’s the fact that although it’s the third mall in the country, #1 and #2 devote a lot of their space to entertainment like amusement rides, water parks, ski slopes, etc. this allows KOP to dedicate their space exclusively to retail which presumably brings in a lot of revenue, and a lot of revenue means a nicer mall. It has the same amount of stores as its competitors with more space and still manages to do what it needs to.Simon has had their issues in PA. Check out the Ross Park Mall. The place is a trainwreck compared to KOP. The bathrooms are dirty. The parking lot looks like it was hit by a meteor. They also had that problem with the security cameras a few years back.KOP has PLENTY of free parking. Come here on a Saturday and it’ll be busy but they made it as big as they did for a reason. They have five Auntie Anne’s and (I think) three food courts. More obscure but high-end restaurants like Eddie V’s and Melting Pot are included as well as more budget-friendly stores like Five Below and the few-and-far-between Primark of all retailers. It’s a very impressive mall. If you haven’t checked it out, stop by when you get the chance!

King of Prussia Mall is a premier shopping destination with a vast selection of stores, from high-end boutiques to popular retail chains. The mall’s layout is modern and spacious, making for an enjoyable shopping experience. Dining options are diverse, offering everything from casual bites to fine dining. Staff at most stores are friendly and helpful. Constructive feedback: the mall can be overwhelming due to its size, so grabbing a map and planning your visit can save time. Parking can be challenging during peak hours, so arrive early if possible. Overall, King of Prussia Mall is a must-visit for any shopping enthusiast.

First time as someone from North Carolina visiting Philadelphia’s biggest mall, filled with many brands and stores to shop at! The park also offers multiple dining options and live shows for visitors to enjoy. With its diverse range of activities suitable for people of all ages, Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom is the perfect place to spend a thrilling day with family and friends.
I bought my season pass last year as soon as I found out that kids up to five were free. We did go a few times in the summer but so many people! Now it's is October they have the Halloween theme and it is so much fun. Keep in mind the kid rides are closed but my five years old loves it. The fog and so many characters dressed up walking round trying to scare you, but when they saw my daughter since her age they would all talk and dance And sing with her . Really one night I will never forget with her!
Rere L — Google review
Had a great time as always, but maybe it's better since I go late on Sundays, so there are fewer people. The Halloween theme is awesome. Colors, music, and atmosphere are great. Shows are super cool to watch. Ride lines move pretty quick as well. The only issues I have are the high food and game prices. And the difficulties trying to get to handicap parking. There's no clear path or direction there for us to park closer.

Dorney Park’s Haunt event is amazing!! The rides barely have lines, the staff is awesome , and there’s just so much to see and do! I took my 5 yr old, and two 9 year olds, with more than enough to do Halloween wise and so on. Definitely highly recommend this amusement park. The only thing I disliked, was the price of the food, which is always expensive in these kinds of parks, as well as the insane amount of traffic exiting the parking lot once we were leaving. All in all, wound definitely go back in a heartbeat!!

Had a great time at Dorney Park! The atmosphere was fantastic, and there was something for everyone. Even though I'm not a fan of roller coasters, I still found plenty of other fun attractions to enjoy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it for a family-friendly day out. 🎢🎡

30 bucks for parking is even expensive for that Bruce Wayne guy. No live shows or entertainment. 10-15% of the rides and water slides were closed. Shoeless long waterslide lines on the burning hot concrete, schlepping an inflated tube up several flights of steps. 🔥🦶Pros: Still liked it overall. Non-water ride lines were short. Was able to walk right on in a Flash. Staff was nice, and it was an enjoyable experience for the most part.
Batman J — Google review
The park has pretty slow operations on the rides and the food we had at the Burger Barn was absolutely awful. The ride collection is definitely dated but I actually preferred the thrill of the older roller coasters compared to the newer ones. The signage around the park was also very uninformative. I was looking forward to the park, but left at majorly disappointed.

We enjoyed but lines were too long, which is also typical during summer season. Prices were better online, but we paid parking and weren’t allowed to park in the regular parking as all lots were full. We did not get a refund either.

Great park. First time here. Definitely comparable to Hershey in my opinion. Kids rides, roller coasters and everything in between. Their water park is huge and we loved it. Definitely check out the crazy river it was fun. Parking is over priced but I'd say that's my only complaint. Lines were short and even were able to ride twice on some rides.

The park was very clean. We rented a cabana which was great and the food attendant could not be nicer or anymore attentive. The gift shops were incredible! We found so many peanuts plush that are so hard to find and we purchased for gifts. Who ever is their purchaser does an outstanding job an asset to Dorney. We had a great day!

Went during summer vacation great place to take the kids going through the weekday cuts down on time waiting in line and the ticket prices are much cheaper online throughout the weekday than at the gate. Something for all ages to do also have a snoopy park included for toddlers, and the waterpark ( wild water kingdom)is included in the general price of admission. Food prices are really expensive but you can take a cooler w/ food and leave in your car and go out and eat and they’ll let you re-enter the park. they also serve alcohol.

If you go on a rainy day the park is completely dead. Unfortunately the day I went Iron Menace their new coaster was closed which was unfortunately but I believe they were doing repairs since there was cranes on scene. Lots of good rides, great park!

This is a smaller park, but offers a pretty wide variety of rides with a nice selection of coasters. I personally would do the water park one day and the theme park one day. The park is well maintained and ride operations were pretty good. All of the food we ate was very good! We did not experience any line jumping or issues in the park. This is our 2nd time here and both times we loved it.

E=mc² Einstein would be proud with the science & math involved in some of these incredible rides! 😁Besides that, Iron Menace was incredibly menacing to say the least (YOU HAVE TO MAKE A TRIP & SEE FOR YOURSELF). All the thrill roller coasters were phenomenal! There could be a few improvements with mascot entertainers perusing around the park & higher positioned hand dryers in the restrooms... The live band rocked! Definitely adequate & shady seating as well! The lines weren't too bad of a wait 🕓. Nothing but friendly customer service & big smiles from the employees! The Season Pass is definitely the best option as far as ticket options & prices! Go to Dorney Park/Wild Water Kingdom & have the time of your life!!! 🥳 👏

This park is such a cozy little park with lots to see and do. We were only there for 4 hours and were able to do everything we wanted to do, and some things twice. Well, except for riding Demon Drop because it doesn't open until 2pm. The park is really beautiful and I really enjoyed riding all the rollercoasters. Iron Menace and Steel Force were really good. The best part about this park is it's not over crowded. You can actually get on rides and do the things you want to do without too much waiting. The longest we waited was 25 minutes, and in the theme park world that's nothing. The people in the park were all super friendly and the ride operations moved along the crowds very nicely. I don't know if I'll get a chance to come back anytime soon, but I would love to if given the opportunity.

Mid tier park. Relatively friendly staff. Some decent flat rides and some decent coasters in their line up. Now the Cons: Park season is over the weekend before Halloween where others in the area like Hershey Park and Great Adventure extends their seasons until January 1st. Food is average, at best, but could be better. Too much emphasis on "Watering Holes" than more food options. Security does their best but there's no real enforcement of the No Smoking/Vaping in the park. This is NOT the Parks fault in general but there are more guests who are unruly and uncivilized especially during the Summer (Primarily at Wild Water Kingdom)and their Haunt.

I've been visiting this place since I was little, and recently came back with family to experience summer nights and have a great time as a college student.Needless to say, I had an amazing day! While lines were a bit long (avoid weekends if you can), that was the only downside I faced while here. The food tasted great, the rides were enjoyable and the atmosphere is great!I came in on a free ticket as my family are season pass members so I can't vouch for ticket price, but after experiencing Hershey, I definitely think Dorney can hold a candle to it.

Absolutely amazing place to bring your family. Every ticket gives you access to both parks The amusement park and the water park. There are some very intense rides there not for the faint of heart Steel force and Iron menace being the most notable . The food is extremely expensive there which is to be expected but all in all it's impossible to not have a good time

We went for Haunt. The ticket sales staff and management team were very cold and not personable by any means. The haunted houses were pretty cool, and their performance talent was awesome. I loved that they incorporated food trucks inside the park. It allowed for better quality food at a lower cost than the amusement park.

Had a great time here last February! They've got a bunch of different and fun hills to go down it's hard to get bored with all their options! Bathrooms were super clean and so was there cafeteria. The Blue Mountain Aerial park is so much fun! A group of 4 of us got the 2 hour tickets and we had enough time to complete the ropes course, zip-lining and free fall jump. My love letter to Blue Mountain,I'm writing this one get some things off my chest in a good way regarding Blue Mountain. Reading negative reviews of this mountain makes me laugh. I grew up and learned how to ski and snowboard at Blue Mountain when it was still Little Gap and they did not allow snowboarding at the time, dating myself I know.I have been snowboarding for 34 years, skied from the age of 2 until 10. Do the math. Been on snow my entire life. The Poconos will deliver a ski experience that is challenging for the Novice, above average or expert skiers and snowboarders. The age old saying if you can ski here you can ski anywhere in world is very true. East Coast conditions are not kind and the Poconos are no exception. I will say if you are willing to put in the work Blue Mountain can carve you into an extremely capable skier or snowboarder and prepare you for any conditions around the globe. The mountain has 1000 feet of vertical drop, Blue Mountain is the highest top to bottom in PA and within a good chuck of the greater east coast resorts so let that sink in. Sidewinder, Challenge, Razors Edge will push your limits as far as you are willing to push yourself, get to know your edges and find out if you are as good as you think you are. Ice, groomed corduroy, slush, loose granular, and even yes, powder at times.Challenging terrain park, easy going beginner trails and, lodge with food and beverage. If you are pigeon and blast this place for service or perceived short comings, just remember this is not Deer Valley or the Ritz Carlton. Come enjoy the slopes, be thankful for the employees who show up and enjoy yourselves.Having been in the greater Salt Lake City area for more than 10 years riding the best snow on earth, I don't forget where I came from and the place that helped develop my skills. That was Blue Mountain! Wax your gear, sharpen your edges and let'r rip. Don't forget your helmet. Ice is hard :)Shout to Joe Warner, longtime Ski Patroller at Little Gap/Blue Mountain who helped me develop my love for skiing/snowboarding. Blue if you read this look up Joe he was one of a kind.-Jimmy

a wonderful ski resort that caters to family groups, they have trails for all skill levels. as of Dec 20th and Dec 21st 2022, the conditions were ok before the snowstorm but there were some trails that had icy parts. many trails for variety (although some trails were closed when we went) staff were very attentive and friendly here. the resort would benefit from having more lights though because it was a little hard to see during night skiing.

Blue Mountain is one of the best in PA. I’ve been skiing here for 13 years and it’s continued to be a great place to come every year. The terrain is some of the state’s best, and fortunately most of it is opened by mid January because of their amazing snowmaking systems. They also have high speed lift service to every corner of the mountain so on most days crowds are manageable. The food is good, but sometimes pricey, although Slopeside is always good. Try to avoid days of fresh snow, ESPECIALLY on the weekends because it can become a zoo. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in PA!

Fun family resort. There are plenty of options for all level of skiers. We had a decent winter with some actual snow, so the conditions were decent. The bunny slope area is nice and big and a great spot for little ones to learn. It is a bit expensive but you can find deals and the 4 hour passes are pretty good. Visited Blue Mountain’s Summit Lodge this summer, and it was fantastic! The views were breathtaking, with vibrant flowers adding a special touch. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Highly recommend for a great summer day out!

Don't even bother to try to go tubing here. Paid over 200$ for 4 people for a 2 hour session and only went down twice. My kids were so excited to try snow tubing and all we did was wait in line. They massively oversell the time slots. We thought the wait was over when it took almost a half an hour to get to the conveyor. Only to find a massive line at the top. Overall a very disappointing experience. I will say the employees were very friendly. This is obviously a management problem. They just sell more tickets than they can handle. I would love to try snow tubing again. I'll just be doing it somewhere else for sure.

Good place for learning how to ski/ snowboard. Can be very busy though. My husband took a snowboarding lesson and it was very crowded - just something to be aware of and keep in mind while planning. It was super crowded on tubing - I was only able to ride 4 times during my 2 hours time slot.Food is really bad and expensive🥲 I mean you can at least add a slice of tomato to a spicy chicken sandwich that costs $15 🤪

Was a great tubing experience. Besides we paid 300 for 5 people to go down the hill 3 times. The lines are so long and the lift conveyor is so slow. Thank God it wasn't raining. We were soaked cuz the snow was all melted and dirty. And we had on water proof clothes. 4 bucks for a 4oz hot chocolate. 4 bucks for a soda. Way overpriced

Honestly pretty upset with what this mountain is turning into. I praised them on staying true to themselves and not turning over to epic or ikon, but the prices for a season pass are getting to be outrageous. 800$ for one mountain in Pennsylvania is pretty nutty when their competition is only a little more and offers a whole range of mountains. They are undoubtedly the best mountain in the area, but I’m sure I’m speaking for a lot of people that ski on a budget. And the fact they really don’t seem to care much for active duty/veterans is pretty pathetic. The weather conditions in the northeast haven’t even been that great lately so we’re lucky to get a couple months use out of the pricey pass.
Brian F — Google review
First ski in the season. It wasn’t the best due to an apparent lack of snow (I blame global warming🥲). Only less than half of the trails and lifts were operating and some of the trails were quite icy. The wait is about 5-10 minutes to get on the lift for each ride. Considering it’s the Christmas holiday season, it wasn’t bad. Hopefully we will get more snow in January or February.
Zhiming L — Google review
One of the best event spaces for views during all seasons, but particularly during the summer and fall. Prices were extremely reasonable given the size of the room and amenities included. Elevator available for elderly and wheelchair bound major plus to reach the upper levels which provide stunning views from the event space above the restaurant.

I went here my first few times snowboarding. I had a lesson that I was initially satisfied with but after getting a little more experience I think the lesson was not so great...the only thing the teacher showed me was how to strap in one foot and glide...she spent the most of the lesson hanging out with other employees. I also rented a snowboard and boots...the boots were pretty disgusting and the second time I went the boots must have had holes in them as my feet were drenched at the end of the day...the place itself is pretty nice. If youre just looking for a mountain for skiing or snowboarding this spot is exactly that...id give zero stars for the lesson and boots and 4 stars for the mountain.

Staying at Blue Mountain Resort was amazing! The place is gorgeous, and there's so much to do. But what really stood out was the guest service – it was beyond excellent. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, making sure we had the best time. They really went out of their way to make our stay special. Can't wait to go back!

Always a good time! Was here the day after opening day, and the snow crew did an incredible job getting trails open! The lifts are well organized. Love the quick food option at the bottom Lodge, is a bit pricey though

I went to Blue Mountain for the first time yesterday; first time there and first time EVER skiing. I was signed up for a group lesson and arrived early. Mind you I’m a highly anxious person so I was already on edge, but things started going south when my locker wasn’t working and I realized I had to go back to the shop because I forgot my gloves. Full blown crying at that point Judy (a literal angel on earth) calmed me down at the shop and shared her experience with her first few times skiing which made me feel better.By then though I was running late and still needed rentals. A young woman (I forgot to grab her name) working there came to get me for my lesson, saw I was distraught, and also helped talk me down and got me rentals straight away and over to David for my lesson.IF IT IS YOUR FIRST TIME GO SEE DAVID! He is tough but fair and even spent extra time with me which was so above and beyond what he needed to do. By the end of our lesson I was turning like a pro (in my eyes) and stopping a bit better. And I didn’t fall once. He helped me get the confidence to try the lift, which I did alone for the first time, and I am so glad I did!Rich at the top of the magic carpet on the bunny hill was also the sweetest and kept my spirits up every run I did.All in all this was an amazing experience and I can confidently say I’m totally hooked on skiing now. I’m going back Sunday with friends and I’m itching for the slopes! Thank you to everyone at Blue Mountain!!!!

Great experience. Not a skier or snowboarding. Snow tubing was a great alternative to enjoy the now. Two separate hills with the same size. We went to the second one because it was less crowded.

A market with a rich history and diverse offerings, Reading Terminal Market is perfect for lunch. It's easy to find great food here - from seafood to cheesesteaks - and there are plenty of options if you need recommendations. The Market is also a National Historic Landmark, making it an interesting place to visit whether you're in the area or not.
So much fun. So much action and variety of color and textures food and people. If you lived in the area you could actually buy your groceries there. But the main thing is the lunch crowd and I do mean crowd. Every type of ethnic food choice is available there.

Herschel’s was an experience of atmosphere, savory pastrami Reuben with Russian dressing on a wonderful rye bread. Paired with a Dr. Browns it how you “everything!”Turkey was an outstanding alternative’healthier’ choice, which the matzoh ball soup was rated by my guests as just average. We all make homemade chicken noodle soup as well as matzoh ball soup. Pictures are always worth more than words. The pastrami was nicely done with just the right amount of fat.

Great way to spend a rainy day. Breakfast at Down Home Diner is a great place to start. Their biscuits are amazing and the people were really kind. After that, hop from aisle to aisle and pick from desserts, coffee, or small trinket shops. It really is just a great way to spend a morning or afternoon.

Reading Terminal Market is a must-visit spot in Philadelphia. My father, who lives in NJ, comes here daily for the diverse food options and the vibrant atmosphere. They also serve beer if you’re in the mood for a drink. Highly recommend checking this place out!

The market is well worth multiple visits to if you're in Philly for a while as there's so much choice you can have something different each time. As well as iconic Philly dishes, you'll also find all the basics covered and cuisine from most countries around. And if you're cooking for yourself, there are also plenty of great ingredients here to rival those in the nearby Italian market.A stand-out for us was Tommy Dinic's that did the most incredible pork sandwiches, but also the sheer number of places doing great deserts, pasties and cakes.

Reading terminal has not changed and it’s still worth the trip down center city!!! Fresh food, fresh seafood, natural honey, all day breakfast, delicious lunch, I mean anything you have a taste for, they sell it at the terminal. If you want to sit down and and not want to be elbow to elbow with someone, 11ish is the best time to go. We ate at Hatville Deli, we had a buffalo wrap and roast beef sandwich. Food was ready in 10 seconds, came with a drink and bag of chips, total together came to about $24.00. Great atmosphere, security walking around, cool breeze, and always remember to support the smaller vendors. No complaints at all.
Maisha R — Google review
Such a fun place. They have everything you could want. Try everything at least once! Walking around is entertaining - the vendors are happy to talk to you and make their recommendations. The first Amish bakery as you come in has the most delectable baked goods ever. The people at this bakery are so kind and patient and they took a minute to talk to us even tho they were busy. The cinnamon rolls and apple pie are just a must. The bathrooms here are decent. There are tables to sit at and also little nooks with tables if you don't want to sit in the center of all the activities. The busy part of the day is in the morning - it calms down considerably after lunch. Some of the vendors even close up after the lunch rush is over. There are also other vendors aside from food.

We went here to eat after seeing the National Constitution Center. We tried the cheese steak. Afterall, we were in Philadelphia. That and the fries were very good. There are several different food vendors there. You could spend hours seeking out good food and treats.

Absolutely loved the Terminal. The prepared foods were amazing. It wasn’t too busy on a Tuesday. Very easy to find everything after the man working at the beef jerky stand kindly gave us maps. He was probably the high light of the day. So kind and generous. Helped us know what to do for lunch and navigating the map.

What can I say about the market place that has it all. A must stop if you are a tourist. Reading has anything and everything you can think about, from naked goods to fresh produce, to fish right from the ocean. There is so much to write about, I just say go and see for yourself. On a plus note, you are centrally located to all the historical landmarks.

What a fun place for food! If you can think it, well it’s probably here and it’s probably delicious. Great idea for a date night. So much to see and do. Paring across the street in the Parking garage is $7 when you spend $10 in the market. Just have them validate. This is a must see in Philadelphia.

Super cool spot with loads of local food shops! They have basically EVERY type of cuisine. From a grocery store of fresh produce to butchers, sushi restaurants, classic diners, candy shops, smoothie bars, etc. There are even non food stores like a candle shop and a book store. I went at 10 am on a Saturday in June and it was PACKED but since there are so many shops there didn’t seem to be insane lines. The prices seemed to be slightly overpriced but since these places all seem to be local/non chain stores I wasn’t surprised. There are two ATMs at the main entrance and places to sit throughout.

Everything was amazing. I wish it opened up a little earlier. There was a line to get in at 7:30. It opens at 8. It was a quick bite for breakfast. I went to Miller's pretzels to get a sausage, egg and cheese stuffed pretzel.....the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had in my entire life!

The Liberty Bell is an iconic American historical landmark, originally cast in Great Britain but recast in Philadelphia to adorn the State House. It became a symbol of liberty and hope for advocates throughout the 19th century, ringing to call the Pennsylvania Assembly to meetings. The bell's famous crack remains to this day, and it has been adopted by many others as their symbol.
This is nice place lots of history, the Liberty Bell star of show. The wait was about 15 minutes and they made sure to move the line very quickly this was an amazing experience to see not just “Is Liberty Bell”. But the history of the Bell and what it means just as Americans, But to others from the other parts of the world. It is something for everyone to see and take how lucky you are to live in the United States.

The bell itself is a powerful symbol of freedom and democracy, and the exhibits and displays do a great job of explaining its history and significance. The interactive displays are also a lot of fun, and they help to make learning about history more engaging.

Visit the iconic symbol of freedom at no cost. Independence Mall is home to the renowned Liberty Bell. You can view the bell's back without waiting in line. Note: Expect airport-style security for tours around Independence Mall.

Solemn experience, I did not expect this visit to be an emotional experience but as I read about the history of our country, visualized the excavation of Abraham Lincoln’s homestead an read the narratives of enslaved people. I felt both inspired but sad at the same time knowing my own roots run deeply within the very fabric of this place but so too did the blood and sweat. Truth be told, this was the most American I have ever felt.

Free admission to view the Liberty Bell, no tickets required. You are subjected to inspection before entering the building and guards are present at regular interval and you’re required to keep distance from the Bell. You will see a lot of history boards before viewing the Bell. This is a self guided tour. The line may look like it’s long, but it will move quickly once you get past the inspections to get in.This place is well worth the visit to see a part of our Nations history.

I loved visiting the Liberty Bell. It is free to view, just have to stand in a line that moved pretty quickly and then you will find yourself in a small museum that shares some history about the bell and showcases some smaller artifacts. After walking through the short gallery, you will come upon a beautiful room that features the Liberty Bell framed with a tall glass wall and an unobstructed view of Liberty Hall. The staff was friendly and the process was seamless. You can walk all the way around the bell to take in every detail. One thing to note is that, though, the bell is free to view anytime, you will need to purchase an advance ticket to tour the inside of Liberty Hall across the street!

The Liberty Bell in Philadelphia is an essential historical site. The exhibit provides informative displays about the bell's history and its significance as a symbol of American independence. The bell itself is an impressive sight, and the atmosphere is respectful and reflective. Visiting is straightforward, with typically short wait times. Overall, it’s a must-see for anyone interested in American history. And it is free!

First time here and loved it! Free with air conditioning! security line went by pretty fast, so not a lot of complaints from the kids. Once in, lots to read! Independence National Historical Park is the birthplace of the United States Constitution and Declaration of Independence. The park covers 20 city blocks and contains museums, Independence Hall, and the Liberty Bell.
Baby start saying I don't remember go to Independence Hall Visitor Center and get a free ticket to the Ranger talk and discussion at Independence Hall. The Rangers are very knowledgeable. You'll see the courtroom where the Declaration of Independence was written and signed and debated. Then you will see the hall where 11 years later President George Washington presided over the writing and the debates of the United States Constitution. The Independence Hall building was constructed in 1734 and was the seat of government of Pennsylvania and was the high court of Pennsylvania. The signatories of the Declaration of Independence or actually committing trees and upon signing it and would have been put to death by the British government had the revolution failed. These founding fathers of our country put their lives on the line for our Independence.

Nice park with a good amount of green space to lounge around or walk. It is next to a few sites that are worth visiting and is a good place to rest in between them. Lots of neat buildings to look at around the park and traffic didn't seem overly bad in this part of the city.

For our detour through Philadelphia, we visited America’s birthplace. From the Old Pennsylvania State House to the signing location of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, we enjoyed every bit of it. The tour guides were very funny and friendly and taught us a little more about our beautiful country’s history.

They will let you in to the signing room on standby if there's room. I'd recommend paying the $1 fee online to book your time if you want to be sure though. Congress Hall next door has free tours every 20 minutes as well. No tickets exist or needed for that. Liberty Bell is wait in line with no reservations as well. If you get there at a good time, it might take 10-15 minutes to get in. It can take way longer if you get there right after a big group shows up. Overall, it was a great experience, but you need to plan your visit to make sure you are efficient with your time.

If you're looking for a national historic park that celebrates the independence of the United States of America, with nice wide open areas to wander and very interesting historical facts to peruse, along with helpful security guards and park rangers - in the middle of Philadelphia, then you have found it here.Plan on a couple of hours to see everything at a gentle pace. Enjoy the spiels from the rangers. Learn about how a big, important bell cracked... but not when! We just don't know, apparently!Take pictures and post them to insta so you can prove you take this nation's history and founding seriously. 👍

Independence National Historical Park is located in the historic district of Philadelphia. There are many sites and buildings to see here and explore. There is also a visitor center with lots in it to see and learn about the city of Philadelphia as well as a gift shop. Across the park from the visitor center there is an outdoor beer and beverage garden that we stopped at for some drinks and take a break while walking around the park on a warm day. You can visit the park for free but to see certain things you will have to pay to see them. I have been to this historical park a few times now during my visits to Philadelphia and would come back again since I still haven’t seen it all.

Another National treasure that everyone should take the time to experience. Brilliant men debating and compromising to tell the King of England to pound sand. Then on to build a new nation with a Constitution and Bill of Rights unique in the world, guaranteeing a government by the people, for the people and of the people. Leftists have been trying to destroy it ever since. 1984 is coming to pass. Fight to keep your history. Teach your children. 🇺🇸Be sure to get tickets and follow instructions. 30 minutes early is a good idea. They have high security entrance with X-ray and pass through metal detectors that is a bottleneck. Leave everything behind, even pocket knives and such.

Recommend heading upstairs to the balcony level for free, panoramic views of Independence Hall and the Philly skyline. On this visit, we discovered that the Center offers an excellent short video about Independence Hall's history. There's also a small interactive exhibit for all ages that celebrates famous early Philadelphians. The Info Desk staff will assist in arranging tours and giving directions. It's also worth a stop to see the 2 Philly history murals by Mural Arts near the parking lot entrance.

This is not just a visitor information Center it is a small museum in itself and filled with cafes, tourist shops and eateries. So don’t just plan to go there to get some information about the Independence Historic Park ( which is part of the services it gives including guided tours) budget some time to hang out there, eat, go through the displays , watch the historic short movie’s presentation and to shop there. Entrance is free.

There were two gift shops to browse through and a cafe to hangout. And of course it has NPS stamp and penny press available.

Got there at 8:30 and stood in line in the hot sun for 30 minutes waiting for the opening time. It would have been nice to have something set up to shade people. I was covered in sweat by the time we entered, something that I rarely do.Most of the history panels were similar to what I read to my family from the website while we were getting ready this morning. I found that very helpful. The bell itself was in a fitting location overlooking Independence Hall. The windows were fairly scaled up from the sprinklers(which came when we were looking at it the evening before).Last time I visited, the bell was located much further away.

This is where you get tickets to Independence Hall. Be sure to go to the national Park desk and not the tourist desk. Tickets are free but availability is very limited. I arrived at the national park desk right when they opened at 9:00 a.m., and they had no tickets for that day.The building itself is a nice break from the heat, very well air conditioned and free public bathrooms.

As a fine individual who was making his initial visit to some noticeable historical sites in Philadelphia along the prominent Independence Hall dating back more than 250 years with a load of history dating back to 1682 when William Penn initially established the contemporary city of Philadelphia on 1000 acres of land, further expanding his land claims through the evacuation of numerous Lenni-Lenape tribal individuals.I initially came into this respective Visitor's Center from the Autopark Garage oriented on the premises steps away from the historic Pennsylvania State House and was instantly met with awe with the contemporary fixtures and interior prevalent, in addition I was massively impressed with the exhibit, a testament to the anecdotal history of Philadelphia from the basis of numerous cultural categories, from the presence of the Crack of the Liberty Bell in 1846 to Food served in the American Revolutionary War to Clothing in addition to historical figures of Philadelphia from William Penn to Benjamin Franklin to Lucretia Mott and Alice Paul of the Women's Suffrage Rights Movement, which impressed me, considering my gracious historical interests and curiosity to learn about Philadelphia's Historical Significance.Despite the fact that this respective visit was relatively brief, I was flattered with how impressive this historical Visitor's Center was during my visit, I will potentially return in the future to further advance my engrossed self.

If you want to visit inside the Constitutional Hall be sure to get your free Ranger LED lecture tickets for entry prior to going to constitutional Hall. The tickets can be obtained at constitutional Visitor Center one block away on the other side of the Liberty Bell on Market Street. This is a worthwhile historical tour with wonderful facts and information about the courageous acts of the founding fathers to declare independence from Britain.

Thanks for the tip! Visiting Constitutional Hall sounds like a fascinating experience, especially with a Ranger-led lecture to provide context and insight. It's great to know that you can get free tickets at the Visitor Center nearby. This ensures a smooth and organized visit, allowing you to fully appreciate the historical significance of the site. Did you find the Ranger-led lecture informative and engaging?

Enjoy the refreshing a/c on a hot day, make use of the public restroom, debate if you want to eat a basic $5 hotdog, get your National Parks passport stamps, and get local tips from the staff. Be sure to check out the free hands-on exhibits including the touchable Liberty Bell crack replica, large map with 3D buildings, and more. This is also where the underground parking garage exits to the street level. Note that Independence Hall tickets are only available online. You cannot purchase them in-person.

Wasn't allowed to bring my 20yr old son through the casino to eat at Emeril's Burgers and More. Don't know why security couldn't escort us to the restaurant. Last thing we wanted to do was waste money on the slots. All we wanted was a bite to eat. Security said the only option was the food court. Definitely not worth it.

The table suddenly became very busy, and the dealer kept blowing cards, but they changed 4 dealers within 10 minutes. The staff called a few people to look at it, and said it was very strange, as if we were cheating. , they said they were going to close this desk and they were going to get off work. No way, the rules of the game are theirs. The next day, I went to the same table and kept losing. The dealer kept getting 20 and 21 points. I asked the staff when the table would be closed today. The dealer told me that in addition to changing the cards, the table would be replaced with new cards. , will not be closed. Yes, shameless behavior can only make you lose, not win. When you are lucky, they keep changing people to deal cards, or close the table directly. There is no justice at all... don't go gambling in this place, their behavior is so bad

Bush league services and amenities. Unhealthy conditions and clown shoes service. It is clear there has been a recent management change for the worse. Our stay started with the front desk being unable to locate our reservation. Despite it being made months ahead of time. Next my coworker discovered that our shower would not drain. When maintenance arrived they pulled 3 hair extensions worth of hair out of the drain. They have done away with complimentary breakfast (which my coworker would not stop complaining about for our week long stay), the attached restaurants are over priced. One night I ordered medium steak, at "market price", and received a brunt piece of charcoal that was no where near worth what I had paid for the meal.Next security saw fit to give my company vehicle a "parking warning" threatening to boot or tow it. With no explanation for the warning. The vehicle was legally and parked in a valid area. No signage, no markings, no attempt to contact me. When I contacted them, they admitted that the warning should not have been issued. It never occurred to them that the vehicle was parked for more than 24 hours, because the guests were staying for longer than 24 hours. All these above mentioned things are annoying but what is unforgivable is my coworker and I both observed the house keeping staff clean our room one day. The house keeper took the reusable glasses and coffee mugs, washed them in the room's sink without soap, and replaced them. There were no new glasses or mugs on her cart, so this must be a standard thing for this staff.Dog feces located everywhere in the landscaping and parking lot. The room does not have a microwave and the refrigerator barely cools drinks at the max setting. The computers in the "business center" in the lobby are running illegitimate copies of Windows, the styling of the rooms and public areas are clearly cheap and tacky. The free wifi is open, public, and not in the least bit secure. It is clear the powers that be are cutting corners where ever possible. In short, anyone staying here should not expect the most basic level of customer service and expectations to be met. For the cost of the room alone, I would expect NONE of these issues, let alone one of them to be experienced during a week long stay. The only people that have any idea of what they are doing is the polite and professional maintenance staff. But that is not enough for me to reserve a room here next time.

Great atmosphere with lots of fun, diverse shops! Beautiful gardens and water features in the middle. Always nice to walk around with friends and browse the shops. This place has been around for at least 20 years and it looks so well managed and taken care of! During the month of July they had the Sand sculptures on display. One major downfall is it’s not very wheelchair friendly throughout.

This is a nice place with plenty of shops and restaurants, Great place to see Christmas decorations and Christmas parade as well, their Halloween decorations are nice too, great place for kids to enjoy, however this place is too busy and crowded all the seasons, parking is very tricky, wait time in restaurants are hours, you have to stand in long queue to get in to a restaurant or buy food from food trucks. So be prepared, have plenty of water, snacks for kids and yourself, a hat to protect you from the burning sun, apply sunscreen and hopefully enjoy the day.All the time I get extremely tired after walking here on a sunny day. So, be prepared.

We got married at Peddlers Village this August and we honestly could talk about how AMAZING they are for hours on end. Every single aspect of our wedding was absolutely perfect, thanks to all of the help from the phenomenal staff at Peddlers. Peddlers Village is the most beautiful and romantic place for a wedding, and as New Yorkers, we were able to utilize all Peddlers had to offer to maximize our wedding to a full weekend. In addition to having our ceremony and reception at Peddlers, we also had our rehearsal dinner and after party there as well. Our guests are STILL talking about how beautiful the village is, and how incredible our wedding was. Our perfect day would not have been possible without the amazing staff at Peddlers who helped us every single step of the way. Ann was available to help us with anything that we needed from the moment we booked Peddlers, and she went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and that our wedding was our perfect vision. We had the pleasure of having Pam as our day of coordinator, who assisted us with every single thing on the day of our wedding, allowing us to relax and enjoy the day. When the possibility of rain became a looming fear, Pam and Ann made us feel comfortable knowing that they had a Plan B in the event that it does rain. Another wonderful thing about Peddlers is how many photo opportunities there are! We were able to capture an array of different settings for our photographs all while staying in the village. Peddlers is beautiful, charming, romantic, and allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams. But for us, what really made the difference is the incredible staff who made us feel like family and were there for us every step of the way. We HIGHLY recommend any couple looking to get married to choose Peddlers for their special day. We are so thankful for everyone at Peddlers Village and are so blessed to have been able to be married there!

Be sure to check local listing for activities, dining, and shopping hours.Typically, it is fairly crowded on the weekends. However, we went on a Monday afternoon to see the holiday lights and partake of the Free Smores. Most of the shops were closing at 5 or 6, but some are open later. Dining was open longer hours as well, and there are some very good options for the hungry traveler!! Button wood has delicious burgers, and Nina's Ice Cream and waffles is worth a drop in!Folks in the village are helpful and friendly, and I will definitely be back to do some holiday shopping next year.

We couldn't resist the Creme Brulee with Berries for dessert. Scott always treated us with the best of care and attention. His wine pouring skills are also a "show" in itself. Thank you Scott for making us feel so special. Our evening continued in the Theater with a Holiday Show by Martina McBride. Every seat in the theater is a great seat and the huge video screens, amazing acoustics and sound system made her show really come alive. Martina's performance was spectacular. After the show, our visit in the Casino made our evening even more special. We really enjoy the variety of slots, games and tables they offered. Lady luck was with us. Bought my dog a Patty with cheese. He loved it. Will go back. ONLY ISSUE I HAD... TRUCK PARKING is non existent in that area. I was chased off after about 3 hours. Told I couldn't park there. Here is a picture of the parking lot from my windows. (OH and the amazing burger) Truckers have A LOT of MONEY that they would spend at this location. A lot of us are veterans and would appreciate the business for allowing us to park there. Just charge $20 a truck and get our information.

We had a great day! We came on a Friday (before memorial day), not too crowded, lots to do for my 2.5 year old. We packed some snacks and drinks & skipped lunch with elmo bc I heard the food is bad and she is a picky eater. My daughter waited in line twice to meet elmo/abby & do a photo (about 20-30 min wait). She also got to meet Bert & Ernie and big bird twice (10 min wait). We met cookie monster once. She got to ride every ride she wanted more than once and spent about 2 hours in the sand/splash pad. She loved the parade! Very enjoyable day! We bought tickets on sale around black friday 🙂

Very tiny park geared towards kids. You get in free with a Bush Gardens pass. They have two small coasters that were pretty good. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The families seemed to be having a good time. The bathrooms didn't have paper towels or hand dryers, there were dirty diapers on the floor and they desperately needed a good cleaning.

Today started off very well even though it was light rain and kind of chilly. Upon arrival we asked the staff if the park would remain open and they said yes. The park opened at 10 and around 1:3 they advised the park was closing, there was no lightning no thundering and no additional explanation. Staff advised all guest to either request for a sunny day pass via the app or website or venture to customer service in the front of the park. I went to customer service since I had already purchased parking and a reserve space for the 3pm parade. Manager Zach refunded my parking and the reserved space for the parade but without the tax so it didn't match the price it was purchased for and he could not provide an explanation why. He just said that's how it is & when I asked to speak to another manager, Zach Advised he was the only person I can speak to. I just said OK and I knew at that point I was just gonna need to contact Corporate to provide them some clear feedback on the experience. I am from Georgia and visiting family in Virginia. I decided to take my Little to Sesame Street for the day which is a 4 1/2, so you can imagine how disappointed I am to have only been park for less than two hours and not only not receive a refund appropriately but given a sunny day pass option. I did advise to Zach that sunny day pass is not equivalent for this type of situation, since the weather did not impact the park, closing, the park chose to close on their own, without any additional explanation. But from the looks of it, it was due to lack of staff. There was no thunder or no lightning and the rain actually stopped at 12:30. anyone thinking about going to Sesame Street try the Florida location. Longhorn Location is not worth the money nor the lack of customer service, under construction rides, ill prepared staff, and so on and so on. I truly expected better.

The walking area surrounding the water area was very rocky, it hurts. I would request the park authority to look into this matter. Rest all I like everything about this theme park.

This is a great place for the kids to have a fun time. We visited and 7 hours went so fast it was unbelievable. So much fun!! My one problem was the staff at the food center big birds burgers. Look for 4 kids and 2 adults it was $114 for chicken nugs fries and a drink for each of us. You can not bring any food inside. The girls serving the food at the pickup counter at least 3 I interacted with were so RUDE it was unbelievable! For paying all that money you deserve a smile and a response not just a mean stare. Even rude to my kid when he asked for BBQ SAUCE. they are young prob don’t make much but just be kind and if u are miserable find another job. Other then that a coke bottle is $6! They take absolutely no CASH anymore. I would not visit again but it is a nice day trip outing for the family. The characters are very nice and patient with the kids. Water and park are extremely clean!

06/22/24-I would recommend not wasting time and money coming here. Don't bother. Sesame Place has definately fallen off. We have been coming here for years and I must say we are very disappointed. The park cost is excessive specially the parking $ 35 is ridiculous but that's not the worst part driving here to find out that only 2 water rides were open was frustrating. Not only that but in their site as you can see on the Pic it only stated 1 ride would be closed. But if you look at the water slide pics there is no water in those rides meaning it looks like they won't even open for the season.

Overall a good experience for the children. Neither of my children religiously watch Sesame Street - however, they are familiar with the characters and enjoyed the character experiences. The line for security to enter the park was long but moving. We had “Magic Queue” passes to pick up in the Welcome Center upon arrival and the line was not moving. We ended up going to pick them up in the “Guest Relations” office where the line was moving along more steadily. We visited on a day where many of the water park attractions were not opened yet re slides. I believe the children would have enjoyed it more if the slides were open. The layout of the water attractions versus rides is very “unique” and they are in several different sections versus one designated spot.We enjoyed the Dining with Elmo event as it was extremely kid friendly and the kids were freely able to jump about, dance, and move without it feeling as though they needed to be seated the entire time. The food is extremely casual but it was good. The Parade on Main Street fills up very quickly and there are very few shaded areas. The pavement gets extremely hot so bring a towel or blanket and plenty of water.

The place is very nice and fun for kids. Tickets are cheaper if purchased online. Food prices are high inside the park, but you can bring your own food and leave it in the car in the parking lot, and you can exit and re-enter the park without any issues. Preferred parking costs $53 and general parking costs $32 (the difference in price also includes the distance), and the preferred parking area has tables for eating, whereas the general parking area does not.

We spent almost 500 dollars as a family of 4 to have passes to this establishment. Each time we've went multiple attractions are closed and we are told "due to not enough staff". My one child literally has asked to go home because so many attractions are closed. Once we've went and every single slide on the water park kids jungle gym was closed. Last time we went the big five person raft ride was closed. Along with the one raft slide. We were given the "unlimited Que" wristbands for last time based on our first negative experience, but it didn't matter because the time we came to utilize those it was the exact same experience (and my parents paid full price admission to come with us). I have now contacted customer service twice since our first negative experience to explain the situation we had the next time was the exact same and have been ignored. It's unacceptable to charge the prices they do and not have the park fully operational. I understand if things are closed for unforeseen circumstance such as maintance issues, etc. but to be told each time I'm at the park for staffing issues is not acceptable. Then you need to compensate because the park is small to begin with and as a guest you expect it to be fully operational. Also, I will attach pictures to show that the grounds are not well kept and it is filthy.

Had a great time with family. The dine with elmo and friends add on is entirely worth it. Foods decent, all you want, air conditioned, inside, plenty of time with characters, show and games for the kids was awesome. Im just saying you cant eat there for the price of the dine with elmo and friends as a family, plus you get the characters and show. Water features fun and clean, bummer about the closed kiddie slides, and we werent able to prepay parking. The kid at the gate was definitely scamming the park, (they dont take cash, but i parked for 20 dollars cash) only other complaint is general cost of any extras or souvenirs (little outrageous) but hey, we had a great day and would return.

We had an absolutely magical visit! We came from Chicago and it was completely worth the long drive and the price! My almost 2 year old could go on almost every ride, but they weren't boring, so my 8 and 5 year olds were having a great time too!

I love Sesame Place! It was my mom go to place when I was a child. Now I take my babies and they love it too! Getting a season pass is totally worth it especially if u live near by. I love that u can bring in outside food it help with affordability. My children are 16, 3. & 1 they all enjoy a day at sesame place.

The day we visited Sesame Place it was 90° outside and all but one water ride was closed. The pools and spray grounds were open. We paid for the food passes. With the food passes you can only eat from two restaurants, one of which was closed. The park was short staffed and the bathrooms were disgusting. Overall, the kids still had a good time. For the price I would have liked to be at a park that was fully operational and clean. Especially when this is a place for children.

If you’re in the Philadelphia area, this may be a place you want to check out! Especially if you have little kids. It’s like being transported into a different world. Expect long lines everywhere! It’s especially brutal if you’re going in the summer because there aren’t too many shady spots to sit at. The rides are pretty meek because the primary audience is the seven and under crowd. The one big miss is the quality of the restaurants - The stuff you get is basically fried garbage. Nothing fresh or Flavorful… Fried chicken, fries, greasy pizza, greasy burgers… And the lines for the food, especially around the lunchtime aren’t managed efficiently. There is a mobile ordering option, but half the vegetarian items we were looking for including salads, and the impossible burger were not available via the app. And be prepared to cough up a pretty pretty for everything. If you feel nostalgic about Sesame Street then This is the place for you. But if you are looking for thrilling rides and good grub this place is far from it! Most of the thrilling rides were also shut down the day we went.

I went to Sesame Street on August 26th for my child's birthday. I bought the ticket two weeks ago before I saw the comment that there were not enough lifeguards. In a very uneasy mood, we still set out, but fortunately, when we arrived, we found that the river drifting was open and the river drifting project was equipped with at least 5 (or 6?) lifeguards. The kids had a wonderful afternoon on Sesame Street, and this was our third visit

Worse than a traveling carnival. The rides aren't much different than you would find at one, especially with the roller coasters being closed today. The only two positives are that there are familiar characters here and that some of the employees have been very friendly and helpful, despite the less-than-desirable circumstances. The place is not well-maintained. It's very sad and fails to evoke nostalgia in this one-time Sesame Street fanatic. Lots of rides are closed, including the main rides we came for. You can't mobile order the plant-based tenders at Elmo's Pizza Kitchen, which makes no sense. Fortunately the mobile order expediter allowed me to order the regular kind and she put in the order verbally to swap with plant-based tenders. But the onus shouldn't be on guests and employees to try to wrangle a barely passable experience out of a poorly executed park. This is on the management. Even the little Diggerland USA in Berlin, NJ offers a better overall experience than this, though they need a plant-based burger or tender option, too.Extra point for having a fair ride accessibility program (RAP), which kept the day from sliding further into misery, but I can't see myself ever bringing our kid here again.Say what you want about Disney's prices, but very few amusement parks or theme parks come close to their quality of product, guest service, plant-based food options, and variety of attractions. We are already planning our trip to Walt Disney World. After today, it would be good to have something more fun to look forward to (yes, I realize it also involves air travel, a hotel stay, etc., but I imagine many people at Sesame Place had to travel to be here today and I feel even worse for them; at least we only drove in from NJ).

Good day trip for young kids under 10 years old. There are plenty of rides and wait time was reasonable (under 10 min on long weekend). There are several rides which need swim suit; so plan accordingly. The shows were not so great; like story reading was very short and not that interactive. The food selection was limited but you will find pizza, burger and fries. The queue for lunch was over 20 min. You can bring your own snacks to save time. The parade at 3 pm was good, you need to plan ahead for a good spot.Overall a good place for kids

Our kids loved every minute of it! Lines were manageable and plenty of characters were out and about for pictures. Annual passes are definitely worth it for the extra fall/winter events.

Sculpture museum
Grounds For Sculpture is a 42-acre park in Trenton, featuring over 270 contemporary sculptures and seasonal exhibits. The outdoor area is beautifully landscaped with changing sculptures by both up-and-coming and renowned artists like Kiki Smith and Clement Meadmore. Visitors can enjoy moonlight tours, sculpture classes, and even host personal events on-site.
I’ve been here at least 5+ times and have loved it every single time. This park is a true gem and such a great experience for all. For starters, it’s huge - lots to see, many pictures to be taken, lots of art/sculptures to behold. The sculptures range from life-like metal human figurines to abstract/modern art to massive sculptures. The landscaping and the plant diversity is also incredible. The perimeter of the park is situated on a small lake, with other smaller ponds, filled with koi fish and ducks. For the most part, the art installations are the same, but there’s always some new things to see, depending when you go. I have also been to nighttime exhibits here, where they had light and laser shows, really cool. There is a nice restaurant on the grounds as well, called Rats. It’s a French themed restaurant - food is good, but the style and design of the restaurant is what steals the show - you’ll see what I mean ;).Tickets do sell out, so book in advance. A few days in advance should be fine.A great place all year round! A must-see in NJ!

Attended the "night form's" display so my experience is just on that not the hole place. Display was significantly smaller then I expected and there was no order whatsoever. People walking both directions through the "one-way" tour. Everyone stopping to take pictures and others walking in front of and all over the displays. Of course taking pictures is to be expected it was just a free for all and people lack common courtesy these days. Some of the stuff was cool but there's a lot of room for them to step up there game in the future. It's 2024 time to step it up with some modern technology for the lighted displays. I will be checking out the day time exhibits in the future and would recommend checking it out.

Excellent! We had a great time waking around here. Went for a few hours on a weekday afternoon and it wasn’t crowded at all. The sculptures are all very interesting and the grounds are very well kept, beautiful trees, plants, water features and paths everywhere. There are peacocks that roam the grounds. The place is very peaceful, whether you want to go see the art work or just go somewhere nice to walk around and enjoy the outdoors you can do both there. There were also some indoor galleries and a few restaurants/cafes on site that we didn’t check out. The staff who we came into contact with were all very professional and informative and gave us a lot of history of the grounds. The interactive map that you can download was also very helpful while we walked around outside. Will definitely be returning.

Always something new to see here. There are fantastic sculptures in plain sight and some hidden amongst the trees and river. Keep an eye out for the party you weren't invited to. They have a dining area and gift shop on premises. The gardens get quite busy so ticket purchase in advance is recommended.

This is an outdoor museum with life-sized and much larger pieces of sculpture scattered around the large garden area. Can be a part of the scenes by posing with the sculptures for photos.Make sure to have comfortable walking shoes, a sun umbrella or hat and something to drink esp on the warm days. Maybe insect repellant too. We did a lot of walking but we didn't cover it that one day. Some with membership can keep returning. The trails are wheelchair-friendly. Some sculptures can be seen easily from them, but some are behind trees/bushes, inside building structures or have steps to get to them. Some signs mentioned poison ivy so be careful going through the bushes/plants. There were benches for resting; swings too, even for a wheelchair so my mom got to ride as well.A map is available via QR code but a printed or posted ones all around would be helpful as well. There are indoor exhibits, restrooms and a cafe both in the main building, and across from it in another building.Saw a parade of peacocks too.

What an incredible place! I really loved Grounds for Sculpture. The grounds were well kept and the flowers and trees were beautiful! The sculptures in The Meadow were the best in my opinion. There were so many cool looking archways and paths. When you think you're walking towards nothing you find a hidden away sculpture. I'd love to see them do so for the Halloween season!!

Recently, I was looking for something fun to do and decided to soak up the warm summer weather with a hike at the Grounds For Sculpture—a place I’d heard of but never visited. Boy, was I in for a treat! The place is massive, with so many cool sculptures and buildings to explore that you might need more than one visit to see it all. And guess what? Peacocks roam around freely, adding an extra dash of excitement to the experience.I was blown away by the variety of sculptures. My favorite? The one that looks like a giant is either climbing out of or falling into the ground—mind-blowing! The pond was a lovely spot to relax, too.Check out the pics below to see what I mean. If you're ever in the area and looking for something unique and fun, I highly recommend visiting Grounds For Sculpture. Plus, there's a fantastic restaurant nearby called Rats, which has rave reviews. Make a day of it—you won't regret it!

I've been here 3 times and I still love it. Each time I visit, there are new sculptures. The sculptures are very impressive and displayed in a beautiful park-like setting.Don't miss the interactive exhibits inside. Also, make reservations ahead of time, or as soon as you get there, for a nice lunch at Rat's restaurant, just outside of the grounds. You can walk to it from inside the Grounds for Sculpture. The food is good and the setting is ideal, especially outside on the water with a view of Monet's bridge.

This trip was a surprise trip, and when I arrived, I have to admit I wasn't too excited, BUT the more I walked around, the more I enjoyed it. Some sculptures were... abstract and others were awesome. What I loved the most was the natural designs.. I found a cool spot that I sat in for at least 30 minutes but felt like I could've stayed there all day. It inspired me and I would love to copy this design in my future home. Enjoy.

Fantastic sprawling green space with sculptures for everyone. There is no shortage of experiences to look at and art installations to inhabit. Whether it’s concrete monoliths or intricate detailed 3-dimensional artscapes, you will not be underwhelmed by your experience. This is worth the journey if it’s a little outside your normal travel radius. Be prepared to spend a couple hours here.

Came here on a whim based on a friend’s recommendation. It is a timed entry so it may be good to buy tickets ahead of time during more popular hours but we were able to easily purchase tickets on the spot on a Saturday afternoon. It was surprisingly entertaining strolling along the pathways and bumping into different scenes and sculptures along the way.We spent almost 2 hours to tour the entire place. There’s some nice spots for pictures and a small museum. Nice place to stop by if you’re in the area.

When walking the grounds outside, be sure to take what appears to be the smaller, not necessarily paved, paths especially by the lake in order to see some of the interesting and lifelike sculptures. The landscaping of the grounds is very well done and an important part of the experience.I'm glad we printed the map at home before going. Paper maps are not available on-site, and I found the interactive, online map difficult to use due to the scrolling required.

Princeton University is an esteemed institution of higher education established in 1746. It is renowned for its engineering, science, and humanities programs. The campus boasts impressive architecture and holds historic significance. Though it is a private university, it has high academic standards and values its exclusivity. However, this exclusivity can limit access to certain areas on campus such as the university chapel which is only accessible to students, faculty or staff.
Truly an iconic Ivy League university! The moment you enter the gates you can feel the 300 year history of this legendary university. The time capsules for each batch are a beautiful tradition and placed in a very aesthetics manner. The town of Princeton around the university is a great place to walk around among a truly accomplished crowd of people!

While Princeton University is often celebrated for its prestigious academic programs and distinguished faculty, there is a notable policy that has been a subject of contention among students and alumni alike: grade deflation. The grade deflation policy, which aims to curb grade inflation and ensure that grades are awarded more stringently, can be seen as unnecessary and even detrimental to the student experience.Firstly, the policy can foster a hyper-competitive atmosphere, where students are not only competing with the rigorous course material but also with each other for the limited supply of higher grades. This environment can stifle collaboration and the free exchange of ideas, which are vital components of a healthy academic community. Instead of encouraging students to learn and explore intellectually, the policy may push them to focus narrowly on achieving high grades at the expense of deeper understanding and creative thinking. Moreover, grade deflation can have significant implications for students' futures. In a world where GPAs often play a critical role in graduate school admissions and job opportunities, Princeton students may find themselves at a disadvantage compared to peers from institutions with more lenient grading policies. This can be particularly disheartening for students who have worked diligently and performed well by objective standards, only to have their efforts diminished by a policy that seeks to limit high grades.Additionally, the stress and anxiety induced by such a stringent grading policy can take a toll on students' mental health and well-being. College is a time for intellectual growth and exploration, but the shadow of grade deflation can loom large over this experience, turning it into a high-stakes competition for academic survival. While the intention behind grade deflation—to uphold academic integrity and prevent grade inflation—may be commendable, the policy's adverse effects cannot be ignored. An academic institution of Princeton's caliber should aim to cultivate a supportive and encouraging environment where students are motivated to learn and grow, not constrained by unnecessary limitations on their academic achievements.

The campus is beautiful. It's an arboretum as well. There's a famous rose garden and a nice free museum. You'll also find some of the most pretentious and entitled little monsters south of NYC here. A bastion of "wokeness" and antithetical to academic freedom, it would be wise to avoid Princeton altogether.

This is a very old school with charm and beautiful architecture. I just walked through the campus, but it was quite lovely. I cannot attest to the education, but from what the school has posted everywhere, it seemed like a very “where are your papers?” university, which is quite something. I will not doc any stars because of it, but I was not allowed in the university chapel because of it (only students, faculty, or staff allowed)- I know it’s a private school, but I thought these places were supposed to be open to all, like their predecessors in England like Cambridge or Oxford.

What is not to love about Princeton! It’s a beauty for all those who love the sheer brilliance of a human mind, both literally and metaphorically. The architecture is swoon-worthy! I have long been fascinated by the variety of architectural styles and movements that make up Princeton University’s 268-year-old campus. It is one of America’s oldest and most storied educational institutions, yet it has a surprisingly eclectic collection of nontraditional contemporary buildings. From modernism, postmodernism, deconstructivism, and rationalism, to Einstein and Nash, it is all here. Do stop by Palmer Square for an ice-cream break!

Duke Farms, located in Bridgewater Township just south of Interstate 287, is a historic estate with a rich legacy of environmental education and conservation. Founded by James Buchanan Duke and continued by his daughter, the farm offers undeveloped natural habitats, gardens, and various outdoor activities such as biking and walking trails, scavenger hunts, bird watching, and more. Open to the public since 2012 with no admission fee, it has become a popular destination for families and schools.
I’ve been to Duke Farms countless times, but have finally decided to spread the word on how marvelous this place is. For starters, the park is free to enter - you just need to reserve a spot for the weekends (it gets quite busy). Once you park, you have access to the entire park. So much to see and do - I recommend downloading the app, especially if it’s your first time (there are also QR codes around the park). By foot, it can be challenging to explore the whole park in one day. If you’re able, I would recommend renting a bike for 2 hours - I think it’s about $15 per session. If you want to walk, my personal favorites places are the orchid farm/greenhouse, Japanese zen garden, and the old Duke manor foundation. But there is so much more to see and do. Great for a day trip!

Beautiful gardens with such a rich history! There is a gorgeous orchid greenhouse and an Italian marble sculpture garden along the path as well as an amazing Japanese inspired meditation garden. The flowers are absolutely beautiful and we’re in peak bloom when we went (mid May). The visitor center had a lot of information with a small movie. There is a cafe that sold hot food and drinks (fancy coffee) and the food was quite delicious. Highly recommend to stop by before or after to fuel up. The ranger there also told us the best route for us to take and was very enthusiastic about the farms. If you do get his question right, he will give you a Duke Farms sticker 😄The whole trip around the park was around 4 miles, which took about 3 hours with stops and taking photos. The signage and the map is not very clear and can get confusing. We did end up getting a little lost while it rained, but eventually made it back. I hope signage will get better at crossroads.Parking passes and entry into the farm are free, but may need to be booked in advance especially on Saturdays.

Free to go to. Beautiful and lovely green house. Paved trails and plenty of benches for you to rest and take in the views.

Dukes Farms is a great walk/bike if its a nice day! Plenty of trails and paths. The Orchid Greenhouse is amazing as well- gets a little crowded at times but if you go in the earlier AM it is not too bad. We didn’t know we needed a parking pass (it is free,) but we able to still enter.

Beautiful property offers extensive options for exploring. Trails surfaces vary, including paved, stone, grass. Informative, attractive Visitor Center with excellent cafe and friendly staff. Comfortable walking shoes are a must!

Perfect place to spend with the family! We rented bikes for $8, had some food at the local cafe, visited beautiful orchids, watched waterfalls. You must reserve car parking spot in advance, it is free via Eventbrite. There is no availability the same day in summer. We did a week in advance, but at least 1 day in advance is fine.

Best place for walking and has beautiful scenic trails. We visited the orchid arboretum and it was mesmerising.

Had a great time walking around and seeing the orchid range, which was phenomenal. I'll definitely be back! We didn't rent bikes, but next time I will.

An absolute outdoor TREASURE in New Jersey! We easily spent 2-3hrs here just biking around, before picking up some food at the cafe and bird watching for another hour.Main Things to Know:Admission and parking are free (though free reservations are required on saturdays). There are bathrooms, water stations, and a cafe on site. Paths are well-marked. The area doesn't feel crowded, especially on weekdays. The grounds are closed on Sundays and Mondays. My Favorite Sites:- Birding Platform (far right of the visitor's center)- Great Falls (picnic spot; flows on a timed schedule)- Mermaid Pool (picnic spot; by Great Falls)Biking:BYOB (bring your own bike + helmet)2hr rental for $8 / bike + helmet (discounted $5 for children)wide variety of bikes, easy to useI highly recommend bringing your own bike if it's possible. The bike rental tent is a walk away from the parking lot and the visitor's center, so bringing your own bike means you aren't limited to the main grounds or the 2hr rental. Some bikes have bells. Most seem to have a water bottle holder and kickstand. We had issues with the brakes on our bikes, but the staff switched out our bikes and had us back on the road in no time.Bike racks are conveniently available at most main attractions like the meditation garden, orchid range, and great falls.Something to keep in mind while visiting: while bathrooms are located throughout the grounds, water fountains are not as plentiful, so fill up your water bottles before heading out!

Pros:•Well-maintained grounds. Reminds me a little of Versailles Palace in spots.Cons:•Staff I encountered weren't that friendly.•Crossing guard emphatically stated there are signs for pedestrians into the park, from the lot, which is false; What I DID encounter instead was a very friendly "DO NOT ENTER" sign (See photo.)•Access into park from the only lot is quite a distance on foot - approximately 0.3 mi. All gates were locked. I felt unwelcome.•"Great Falls" was dry as a bone. (Again, see photo.)Don't think I'll be back again.

Entrance info might help: farm closed on Sun&Mon. Ticket registration required for Saturday, there will be stuff checking upon entrance. However if you can find parking other places and walk into the park, thats ok. Registration mainly for car parking.Bike rental info might help: Photo id required per group. You need to know how to bike, including children. No bike with supporting wheel. No baskets. No back seat. Bring a backpack if you have extra to carry. Helmets are provided. Max rental time is 2 hours.Park is great. Renting a bike takes too long, line wait 15 minutes. There should be a better way to handle this.

One of the best places to visit if you like nature. Very relaxing and quiet. You can bike around or just walk. The best time to go is on a non holiday it is usually a lot less crowded so you can walk without bumping into folks. We went here with a group of friends and had a great time. They also have a nice little cafe you can visit. Be sure to take lots of pictures since there are plenty of places for the perfect snapshot.

First time visitor to Duke Farms and although the Orientation Center was closed on Tuesday (and Wednesday) we had a fantastic time walking from the parking lot to the Orchid Range (approx. 1.25 mile) over flat paved surface with great signage. So much to see and explore, many trails and a great place for walkers. Easy to find on Rt. 206 Hillsboro, NJ

A lovely place to visit on your own or with company. Large area so bike rental is recommended to see all the sites. Good place for unwinding and appreciating nature.

Water & Amusement Parks
Six Flags Great Adventure is a thrilling amusement park in New Jersey that offers an array of high-tech roller coasters, wildlife areas, and numerous attractions suitable for visitors of all ages. The park features over 50 exhilarating rides and year-round live entertainment, making it a must-visit destination. Additionally, the adjacent Hurricane Harbor provides refreshing water rides during the summer months. Visitors can also enjoy games, tempting dining options, and a drive-through wild safari experience.
Honestly i never know there's a theme park near from NYC, after saw a posting from someone, finally i try it by myself, and it was amazing! The price is a quite cheap only $40, then for a roller coaster lover, you can be here all day long and repeat that ride. A lot of choices and definately i'll be back again..

Enjoyed Six Flags during their fright fest. The rides were all open, and everyone had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the show at the end.Make sure to stop in if you are in the area. They have the best roller coasters.Lots of food and rides and great memories to be made.Parking was a lot, but it was definitely not stopping us.

Six flags great adventure is a really cool fun place. However, as usual, waits for rides can be long or very long. For certain rides, unless someone holds your belongings you have to pay for a locked locker to put your stuff in. Overall though, the experience was fun! Would come her again.

Absolutely loved my experience at Six Flags Great Adventure! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 From start to finish, it was an exhilarating day. The park is huge, and the array of roller coasters is fantastic—each one offering a unique thrill. Whether you're a coaster aficionado or a casual rider, there's something to get your adrenaline pumping. One standout feature is the preferred parking option. It’s definitely worth the extra cost; it makes getting in and out of the park so much easier and saves a lot of time. Plus, the park itself is incredibly well-kept, with clean facilities and friendly staff making the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend it for a fun-filled day of adventure! 🎢🎠

I've been going to Great Adventure since 1974 when it first opened. I was only 3, and I still have that season pass, too.I went with my 12 yr old grandson today, and he is with me from Colorado. He had a great time. He grew up here and has been there before. This is the first year he is tall enough to ride everything! So exciting! We bought season passes even though he's only here for another week and a half, we plan to visit every day after work so he can ride all the rides possible. As well as make darn good use of those passes. Between the theme park and water park, we really already did!

Awesome place to visit with the whole family for wonderful experience. There are several rides suitable for all ages. For those who want an extra thrill, Six Flags offers tall and fast drop towers, swings, and roller coasters. I noticed that a few rides were off on the Saturday I visited; but it wasn't a problem as there were many more rides to try. In addition, there were a lot of places to buy food throughout the park so that you would never be hungry. If you are in the area, I recommend visiting this park and you will have a great time.

Six flags was great! Have not been in years but definitely enjoyed myself. They had a new ride for me the Jersey devil which is tied into folklore. It was definitely a good ride although I screamed the whole time! It’s a big park so you want to make sure you wear some comfy walking shoes. Many food choices of food and snacks.

I got season passes and went the first day in June. Only half the rides were open. Safari was closed, so I didn’t get to enjoy it like I should have. The site says no outside food or drinks yet I seen so many people with outside drinks and food I feel like I got ripped off by purchasing that 40$ cup.The food was OKAY very pricey! They need to come up with a better solution for pick up food when they are busy because it gets very hectic.Staff was very pleasant, everyone seemed to be in a good mood and happy to be there. I like that staff is all over no matter where you are in the park someone is always available.Characters were friendly and interactive with kids.Park was clean. Bathrooms are also kept up with and clean.Water fountains throughout the entire park is a plus for all ages!!

Great place to take the kiddos for a couple of hours. They load you on an Army truck with about 20 other folks and drive you around the Safari park for about 40-45 minutes. Much too fast in our opinion as the Guide barely had enough time to explain what animal we were looking at before the truck sped up to the next stop. Time is money for this park.

*** I recommend season passes to get the most out of the park, especially for their Fright Fest and Holiday at the Park. This is my home six flags park being from Jersey, so it has a special place in my heart. I've noticed through the most recent years how they've updated several things in preparation for their 50th anniversary. Went for memorial day weekend and I must say that everything looked and sounded great. All rides were operating, minus the ones being repaired (log flume) or being built (flash) and wait times were moderately low, only long wait was for Jersey Devil. Overall it's a great park with great coasters, good food, beautiful sights with it being in the garden state, and great fun.

This is a good place for kids of all age group. We had bought the diamond seasonal passes and it was totally worth it, starting from parking (super close to entry) to skipping the long wait times on rides. Staff is really sweet.Only reason I am giving it 4 star is due to the super high prices for food.

Six Flags Adventure is a good adventure park for a one day trip with family. In a sunny day its gonna be hot and you have to walk a lot. One more thing half of the rides are closed for renovations or maintenance. Half of the thrill rides are closed.
Pranay G — Google review
It's a general theme park, and for any of us who remember what Great Adventure used to be like, it's a very big disappointment. Let's first start off with the safari now. While I understand that they do. The group tours with the trucks now, rather than the old-fashioned way of. Driving through with your car, it takes away from the whole experience of the safari. Now, like I said, understandably for safety and insurance purposes and probably legal and money issues. They don't do that anymore, butgoing through the safari is no different than visiting the zoo. Now, the animals are off the beaten path. They are relaxing, not doing much. No animals in the way it's just a straight ride through. Now, as far as the rides, once again not impressed, very disappointed. Out of all of the rides. At least 4 were out of order down for service or maintenance. For the middle of a summer season, that should not be, you want people to spend all this money in your theme park? But yet most of the big attractions are down, not good in my opinion.
DAMIAN M — Google review
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!They don't tell you all the rides included with a ticket are not working or not staffed until you get to them. You can spend additional money on games and rides that somehow are working or are staffed. The employees also don't know what is open or not so you get your steps in and figure it out yourself! This is July 3rd so summer and day before a holiday. Sunny day so no excuses.

Six Flags Review: A Rollercoaster of Emotions!Six Flags is a must-visit for thrill-seekers! The towering roller coasters are the park's heart, but there's something for everyone. Kids' areas, family rides, and even live entertainment add to the experience.Pros:* Thrill Rides: The roller coasters are truly world-class! From heart-stopping drops to smooth inversions, you'll find the perfect ride to get your adrenaline pumping.* Variety: Aside from coasters, the park offers a decent mix of other rides, shows, and attractions, ensuring there's something for all ages and interests.* Atmosphere: The park is well-maintained and festive, making for an enjoyable day out.Cons:* Crowds: Be prepared for long lines, especially on weekends and holidays. Consider visiting during the off-season or purchasing a Fast Pass.* Food: Food options are plentiful but can be pricey and somewhat generic. You might consider bringing your snacks.* Price: Admission tickets and parking can be expensive, so plan your budget accordingly.Overall:Six Flags is a great place to create memories and experience thrills. Despite a few drawbacks, it's a fantastic option for a fun-filled day out. If you're a fan of roller coasters and excitement, Six Flags is well worth a visit.Tips:* Arrive early: This can help you beat the crowds and maximize your ride time.* Check for discounts: Look for promotions and deals online or through membership programs.* Plan your route: Familiarize yourself with the park map in advance to prioritize your favorite attractions.* Stay hydrated: Pack a water bottle and take advantage of refilling stations throughout the park.* Wear comfortable shoes: You'll be doing a lot of walking!I hope this review helps you plan your visit!

I recently visited Six Flags and had a mixed experience. I purchased tickets online two days before for $69 each, only to find that on the day of our visit, tickets were available for $40, which included both daytime access and Fright Fest Extreme nighttime, offering way more than what I got with just the night tickets. That was disappointing. To add to that, most of the Haunted Mazes were closed when we got there, with only two open. On the bright side, the park did provide us with tickets to return, which was a nice gesture. Aside from those issues, the park itself was amazing, and the scary activities they had were awesome, even though they were limited this time around.

Excellent, very clean & professional. Good rides. Good food, the drink deal is very good $20 get the cup & free refills whole day, can't beat that as otherwise I drink $7.Just 1 issue, the most famous rides were closed, this should not be done when you're paying full ticket amount.

Massive park with 14 coasters! All the coasters were pretty good, except El Toro was a little rough! We went on a Monday and Tuesday and the lines were mostly 0 to 20 minutes. All the food we ate was pretty good. We had a lot of very positive employee interactions. There were only a few times we dealt with line cutting. The park needs a little TLC, however, overall we had a good experience and a great time!

What a great place to enjoy a good weekend! If you have kids it’d be incredible to take them here; the safari wow amazing, the water park fantastic! And the theme park; all 3 parks make this Six Flags a perfect place to spend a weekend!Thank you for your response and also for asking!See I was taken by my parents when I was 15 years old and visited several years! Now that I have my own children I’ve been wanting to take them to Six Flags all 3 parks and finally I took them and seeing them enjoying the safari specially my 8 year old son and how amazed he was it filled my heart with joy and happiness! My older daughter 12 now enjoyed so much the roller coasters and so did my 7 year old daughter who had a great time at the water park! And as of me; I enjoyed all 3 parks but the most important and joyful was to see my kids so happy! Thanks for having the Six Flags Great Adventure! And thanks everyone who works at Six Flags!

Jockey Hollow Bar & Kitchen is a unique dining destination located within the historic Vail Mansion in downtown Morristown. This elegant restaurant offers four distinct experiences, including the Vail Bar, a sophisticated space that was once the library, and the Dining Room, which exudes formal charm. The Oyster Bar provides a lively atmosphere with its selection of raw bar small plates and farm-to-table entrees.
We had a delicious meal in the Vale Room, I had monk fish wrapped in bacon, my husband and daughter had steak cooked to perfection. Our servers Bobby and Marco were excellent, charming, so knowledgeable and efficient! The cocktails are so good, with a nice selection of wines and spirits. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food, great service but if you're looking for a quieter atmosphere, this is not the place. Don't get me wrong, the ambiance is great if you're looking for the bar scene. If you're looking to enjoy your meal without people standing around you then this is not your place. The food was amazing and the drinks were to die for! Kudos to the chef, our waiter and the bartender.

Probably one of the nicer restaurants in the region, with elegant cocktails and fine wine, an array of suave apps including delicious vegetable fare, and premium entrees. The biscuits and honey are a phenom, and my scallops were on point. The modern design decor and contemporary luxury vibe add a special and cinematic atmosphere. The service is attentive and polite. Most of the other diners fit the scene, with the exception of the loud, drunk, and obnoxious table of four that was seated directly next to us (we had reservations for two on a date night), who came close to ruining an evening that we paid a pretty penny to experience. For those types, the hostesses should have read the room and isolated them. We expect more discretion next time.

The Washington Room is always the best experience. The staff were amazing and made it feel very welcoming from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. The food was extremely delicious and the whole experience is why we've been coming back to celebrate our anniversary for the past 4 years and probably many more years to come.Pro tip: always get the octopus

We reserved a late table for New Year’s eve, which we could have been understanding to some traffic on such an evening. We were met by a very snippy hostess/coat check person. If you don’t want people standing in your front lobby area, which is tiny, then ensure that their table is ready. Also, the tiny vestibule with the coat check smells like a men’s urinal. We were given an option to sit at a communal table as a band-aid to incompetence of front of the house management. Not to mention having already having paid $50 per person deposit to secure a table. We were seated 40 minutes late after quite a few snide comments from the “greeting” staff. The back bar decor looks like Marshall’s and the Dollar Tree got drunk and made some poor choices. We came as a party of four, and opted for four course prix-fixe. The food quality does not meet fine dining standards, but presentation was decent. All of the food came at same time for each course, even if our dessert arrived before main. Our waiter staff were very attentive, but their supporting staff was obviously just trying to push us out by showing up early with dessert. When we did receive the mains, the two beef dishes were grey and bland, the fish was good though. When the dessert arrived at proper time, the cake in both options were dry and crumbly, not matching the description whatsoever. We are a group that comes planning to spend decent money on decent food and service but sadly, all we got for the money were a couple of the plates being good. The beverage and food wait staff assigned to our table were the shining point of the evening and they should be commended above all the other lacking team members.

Jockey Hollow Bar & Kitchen is a must try. The interior and exterior architecture is beautiful. We sat at the Vail Bar for Happy Hour for 1/2 price glasses of wine and draft beer. The wine selection is excellent and the beer choices adequate. The $2 oysters were super fresh. The hummus with Calabrian peppers and double smash burger w/fries were delicious. The service was impeccable thanks to our bartenders Taylor and Gabriel.

My husband and I enjoy celebrating special occasions here regularly! The chefs are very talented in personalizing delicious meals to fit customers’ preferences; I follow a strict GF/DF diet so that can be tricky at times as a lot of meals are either GF but not DF. We love going here and recommend it to all of our friends and family. The view from the Washington Room is spectacular, however, the ambiance can be improved with classic music to match the atmosphere as the last few times we have dined here it didn’t fit the aesthetic.

What a beautiful place, the staff are so friendly. Was here today on a work event and i enjoyed everything. Pro: parking, view, super friendly staff from the patio staff, to the staff inside. Servicer was very friendly and really did her best to not disturb our speaker. The staff was very diverse and different ages 10 out 10. Steak was well seasoned. Cheese Cake with blueberries was amazing. Con: paying for parking at the actual place, a coworker arrived right when the salad was being distributed and was told she could not order a salad, the chef was working on the dinner orders. Portion of the meals were small and not very filling.

I've eaten at all the restaurants inside JHBK, and I can say across the board, the food is good, but not great, and definitely not on par with the $$$$ price tag. Compared to 1776 the food is outclassed. Atmosphere is always top notch and a great setting in all the rooms in the facility. The cocktails used to be bar none a level above everything else in town. However, since the original bartenders had a fight with the owner and all packed up and left the cocktails have been mediocre and unoriginal. I want to add that during covid they had the audacity to be the only restaurant in town to require proof of taking a shot to enter. Haven't been back since.

If I could give zero stars I would. After reading many good reviews, decided to go to celebrate my birthday. We had to order drinks 3 times because the spirits for the ones we asked for (though published on your website) were not available. Had the Sicilian crostini appetizer which was tasty and came in a reasonable amount of time. Then, even after inquiring, it took almost an hour and a half before our 2 pasta entrees came. The pasta was tepid and tough and the octopus tentacle served in mine was as hard as tire rubber. Seemed to us that in all likely hood they had been under a heat lamp for a long time. The only reason I gave service 2 stars was because our waiter Chris did a good job. The rest of the wait staff seemed very disorganized. On top of all that my daughter had called and left her charge card number to pay for our meal as my birthday present and was told that would be fine. She was not charged and certainly our experience was not worth the $155 that I was charged.
Rich W — Google review
We came for Valentine's Dinner. We waited 30 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink, another 30 for our appetizers, and another 30 for our entrees. Our waiter was uninformed about the menu, barely said a word to us, and never once asked us if we wanted another drink or how everything was. Twice the waiters tried to bring us dessert when we hadn't received our main course yet. We were never asked if we wanted coffee or another beverage with or after dessert. The food was absolutely delicious, but we ordered the $38 duck supplement for two, which was mislabeled as a supplement when it was a replacement for the entrees, which the waiter was unaware of. We paid $38 extra to replace our entrees with one that was not nearly large enough for two people. It was, however, delicious.Whenever we've come in the past, we have always had a great time. It is an absolute travesty that on a special night like valentine's night, everything fell apart. We paid nearly $150 per head after "supplements" and cocktails, and I would be disappointed at the experience for 1/3rd that price. I would never come back for a special occasion, which is a shame because of how much we love the restaurant on a normal night out.The only reason I'm giving an overall three stars instead of two is because our previous experiences at the restaurant have been much better, and the food was quite good even if it took us forever to receive it and it wasn't quite what we were expecting based on the menu and our waiter's clear lack of awareness of what he was serving.
Dean D — Google review
Disappointing experience second time as well. We reserved to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food and service has become mediocre sadly. All server staff needs lots of training. We requested to clean our table as something was spilled after the appetizer round and the lady ignored nodded and walked away. Then again asked the server and he decided to clean. The server were new not experienced to serve at a fine dinning restaurant more better suited if they work around at a taco joint.I ordered a whole branzino fish - which was served head taken off, medium to small whole fish by itself on top of two soggy egg plant slices full of seeds. They don’t go well - soggy eggplant with fish. No other sides at all - the sever didn’t suggest that we should order a side of anything as the fish literally comes by it self with some sauce and topped with little green on it, you are eating oily grilled fish without any spice by itself - where is the chef’s creativity!? Why didn’t the server mention to order sides that can go with it.My son ordered a pasta - you see the picture below pasta was watery!! With pieces of octopus floating in the pasta. How can you make and serve watery sauce pasta with more white beans and less pasta - truly unimpressed.Apparently, the chicken was made good no complains other than the sever making a fuss about replacing broccoli raab with quinoa, a simple small request by guests spending over $500 in food and wine was accommodated after a long discussion, thankfully. (This was mentioned in the allergy section by us saying no pork no broccoli raab)Appetizers were excellent. Try the salads, octopus and oysters all three were excellent!!Dessert cheesecake and chocolate cake were okay as they should be. Nothing special.

This place nailed it with fresh oysters, irresistible biscuits, and expertly crafted cocktails. The oysters were pristine, the biscuits were warm and buttery, and the cocktails were spot-on. We did the wizarding room, and our game master Matt was amazing! There were three of us, and we have done quite a few escape rooms, but still felt like this was an amazing and perfectly challenging experience. We didn’t find it too hard or too easy, would highly recommend going to this or any other of their locations. Just keep in mind checking the difficulty of the room, as it is pretty accurate at what your experience will be.

My kids ages 11-19 did the train heist room and loved it. Their game master was great and was the perfect balance of giving hints when needed but not making it too easy. The game master even allowed them an extra 5 minutes because they were so close to solving the room, which they ended up doing and feeling great about it. We've been to other escape rooms but they liked this the one the best!

Omg from start to finish, we LOVED the Wizard room (don't let it being the oldest at this location scare you away from it)! Kisha was AMAZINGLY helpful at how the room works prior to the start and answered all questions. I would definitely return!!!

This is our third trip, and we've had a blast each time! All of the rooms we've done have been interesting puzzles with great gizmos - magnetic activators that pop open panels, secret rooms, interesting interactive elements. Definitely worth a visit!

Second run at Amazing Escape Room and again it did not disappoint! Did Cabin in the Jungle and it was such an awesome puzzle. It was 10 of us and it has us THINKING. The staff was great especially Becca, our gamemaster, made our experience so much more enjoyable. She was warm, funny and very helpful!

We had a great time but it was only 2 0f us, so you will have to pay for 4 people. Hopefully the next time we'll have 4 people. So much fun

Phenomenal experience, Gina assisted us through 5 total games today. 10/10 would recommend Amazing Escape to anyone who needs something to do on a day off!

This was a great and fun experience! We did The Train Heist and it was the perfect amount of challenging. Madison was a wonderful help!

Very well deserved 5 stars for this location for the Amazing Escape Room franchise. I’ve been to 2 other locations, and this location is definitely my favorite by far. The rooms are well designed, spacious, and have lots of fun and challenging puzzles, and most importantly, the game masters are super friendly and helpful~ Claire was our game master for our second time here and she was super patient, very friendly, and definitely enhanced our experience and enjoyment for the evening 🙂 Thank you so much Claire for getting us through the Cabin~ 🤗 Next time my family are all back in town, I am 100% coming back to this specific location for more rooms and a great time! Thank you Claire, Mia, and our other Game Master for the Comic Shop 🙏🏻

Jersey Shore Pirates in Ocean County, NJ offers an exciting day cruise experience for young children. Kids can dress up as pirates, enjoy face painting and tattoos, and board the Sea Gypsy pirate ship equipped with water cannons. The little pirates work together to search for treasure on this unique adventure. Families have praised the seamless party experience at Jersey Shore Pirates, where kids are entertained from start to finish with engaging activities like face painting and learning the ways of a pirate.
I cannot say enough amazing things about this. I think this was the first time I actually had fun at a kid activity in 5 years. My kids loved it, the adults loved it. "Bones" was hilarious. Everything was just perfect. The shop to buy things is also absurdly fairly priced. I was expecting to pay $20 for a plastic sword and it was $6.Free easy parking also. Really just highly highly recommend!!

Too many good things to write! Wonderful staff, fun memorable event for kids and adults alike. Must do event while visiting the area! Don't pass this up!

This place is AWESOME! Lived in Jersey my whole life and didn’t know this existed for the last 16 years!!! The staff is soo friendly! The price is so reasonable! The show is GREAT the kids LOVED it! It’s so interactive and the parents sit on the opposite side of the boat and sit back relax and enjoy the show 🙌🏼
Ashley S — Google review
So much fun! Staff was incredible with the kids and the adults got to sit back and mostly chill out in the shade. At least two thumbs up - we are planning to return!
Heather J — Google review
Worth a trip!! The kids had a blast and the staff were so friendly and stayed in character (with a couple funny grown up jokes thrown in! Ha!). Check in was super easy and our kids had their name tags already created with some cute nicknames. Each kid can get a tattoo beforehand too. We left right on time and the kids' favorite part was shooting the water cannons at Pirate Pete! Lots of opportunities for photos too. Definitely recommended for families with young children.

This was such a fun experience for my kids! The crew was amazing right from the start before getting the kids onboard. My children were asking when they can go again after the adventure was done! I 100% recommend and we will be coming back again!

We attended a private birthday party this weekend and it was awesome! The kids had a fantastic time, and so did the adults. The crew was great and entertaining. It was an action packed trip and they really did a great job with it. It was my first time, but my son's fourth time over the years, and he enjoys it just as much every trip!

Had my sons birthday. He had a great time! It was pricey but the smile on his face was worth it!

This is definitely worth the drive or sitting on shore through the heat! The trip is about 45 minutes and the kids are entertained from dock to ship to dock! The staff is fun and super nice.

We went on a jersey shore pirates cruise with our family of two young children and two slightly older children, everyone ranged from 2 - 10. The older kids absolutely loved it, the youngest was confused but loved the sword and face painting and the excitement of it all. It was an honestly great time - the folks who run this are VERY thoughtful and considerate and good with kids - I was super impressed with their ability to engage a range of ages, the customer service here is also fantastic. I love that they gave all the kids pirate names, etc. It was so well thought out and executed, I am a BIG fan. I highly recommend it - worth every penny.

Amazing adventure for the kid! My boys ( 4, 5, and 7) had such a great time they have been talking about for days! The staff and crew was amazing and kept the kids so engaged ! I would highly recommend this tour !
Brittani C — Google review
I went for my 3 year old son’s birthday with the whole family (2 adults, 3 kids ages 3,6,8) - we all had the best time! It was very polished and well done the way the kids had to find things out in the water and got to shoot the water canyons at a “pirate” on another boat. I was also cracking up at all the punny jokes - very my speed. My 8 year old was definitely at the upper end age-wise so you gotta know your kid if they’d enjoy but my 6 year old had THE BEST time and the 3 year old had fun too once he got past being scared (which only took a few minutes out at sea). I would definitely recommend.

I had a booking issue that many other companies would have takena too bad, so sad approach. These guys were great. An absolute pleasure. My daughter and I were unable to go on the tour but if it's half as good as their customer service it's probably fantastic.

Took our 2 year old daughter and 4 year old son on the pirate adventure. They had an absolute BLAST! The staff truly made it about the children and it was so enjoyable to sit back, relax, and watch the kids indulge in the expierence. Highly recommend to any family with young children to go. Thank you so much to all the staff for being so great with the kids, incredibly witty and allowing the adults to watch the pure joy on our children's faces!!!

Jersey Shore Pirates is the perfect place for any gathering! We just had our son's kindergarten graduation here with family and friends and the entire process was seamless from begining to end! Right from the start, all of my questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. The day of our party was simply perfection! We had a crew of 43 and the staff didn't skip a beat! My son and his friends enjoyed every minute and were entertained from the very start with face paint, tattoos and learning the pirate way. We all then embarked on such a memorable boat ride were the kids were completely immersed in pirate adventure while the adults sat back and enjoyed the beautiful scenery on the seas! When we returned, everything I had brought with me ( cake, goody bags, poster foam board sign etc. )where all set up perfectly along with pizza set up for each child at their seat. The amount of time allotted is perfect, everyone had a great time. I had more than one child come up to me to say thank you and that it was "the best day ever". The staff was also super helpful in carrying out our things back to our car. Thank you so much Pirates!! I highly recommend having your next party here!

Shopping
The Mills at Jersey Gardens is a popular shopping destination that offers discounted luxury brands such as Saks OFF 5TH and Neiman Marcus Last Call, as well as a cinema. Despite being crowded during the holiday season, visitors can enjoy the mall's two-story layout with an upstairs food court and ample parking. The mall boasts an extensive range of stores including NIKE, Puma, Foot Locker, Burlington, Uggs, Adidas and more.
Every time I visit New York I go shopping at Jersey Gardens Mills. The shopping center is absolutely amazing. There are all the stores you can imagine and the prices are much cheaper than in Manhattan. You can get there by bus 111 from the Port Authority terminal, if you don't have a car. You can easily spend 6-8 hours here, and of course you can eat in the large Food Court. For me, this Mall is a true shopping paradise.

This year I put 4 stars, because the first time I bought almost nothing. many things, but really nothing good. there was a sale at Disney, my favorite store for both children and adults, I always buy something.Big Parking lots.Food court on the second floor.
Yelyena S — Google review
With so much available space it's a shame not to have lockers to store shopping bags, it is one of the most convenient options for malls like this unless you rather people pop in buy from one store and just leave. If you are expecting people spend time you need to think of providing convenient services specifically considering geographic location of you at Newark there are many visitors whom do not drive and do not have the option to store their shopping bags inside their cars
COMMOX C — Google review
The absolute shopping heaven for clothing and sporting goods.Massive mall and outlet with good entertainment and food offerings.Great parking.Almost all the brands can be found under one roof. Just be prepared for long walk from shop to shop... There are plenty of bargains to be found.Ideally try and avoid busy weekends to avoid the crowds as the place is popular (for good reasons).

It’s a great outlet mall. Has pretty much all the stores and brands you can think of. Also always great sales

The Mills at Jersey Gardens, is a great Mall to visit. I call this mall a home of great deals, with so many affordable outlets of major American companies. I always enjoy shopping in person at this great Mall.
Innocent D — Google review
Huge shopping mall with good brands and affordable prices. It is quite far from downtown Manhattan so it is not that suitable for buying just one item only but many instead. Bus service to and from Port Authority available at $7 each way
Urban T — Google review
The mall is very large, featuring numerous factory outlets and ample free parking. Free Wi-Fi is available, making it easy to spend an entire day here with your family. For entertainment, there's an AMC theater located next to the mall. If you rely on public transport, be sure to check the schedule for the last bus departure; otherwise, you'll need to book a cab.Regarding customer service, staff are often not at their stations and leave signs saying they'll be back in 30 minutes, but sometimes they don't return as indicated. Some of the soft drink vending machines are faulty and don't dispense bottles even after payment. The restrooms are moderately clean. The food court is well-maintained with plenty of seating available, offering a good variety of options.

What an amazing experience did I have at this mall. We went there from Manhattan and spent several hours there, and it was so worth it. We got incredible discounts at Tommy Hilfiger and also bought some other stuff at other stores. Get yourself another suitcase and buy some clothes to bring back home.
Mats W — Google review
Always clean place , crowded or no still the stuff working there are so nice and welcoming you with their smile , just love going there to do the shopping and have a nice time . They also offer like a map book that gives you amazing discounts in all the brands there

Mall is nice and clean. Good variety of shops, and includes a movie theatre. Decent selection of restaurants in and out of the food court.Parking is free, and there is a bus stop right outside the movie theatre

A Fantastic Shopping ExperienceI truly enjoy visiting this mall due to its wide variety of stores and excellent pricing. You’ll find everything you need here, all at very reasonable prices. Even Marshalls stands out for being neat and well-organized.You really can’t go wrong with this place—you’re sure to leave with something every time.

People we know made recommendations to shop Jersey Gardens for a prom dress. It was a Very Busy Sunday afternoon. The Mall Staff was pleasant and professional. The Restrooms were Filthy. The Store Staffs were overwhelmed by the crowds. Based upon the customer service received in the individual stores - we were left with no other choice than to continue our search elsewhere - and eventually bought the MOST GORGEOUS dress for our Loved One in NY. The Staff had the time to be far more attentive - and gave us many options to choose from. The dress was reasonably priced and looked flawless.

One of the best place to shop on in New Jersey, most branded products are available at a discount under one roof. Wi-fy and other amenities also available.

Great selection of the stores, great prices. Clean general space/hallways and food court, though bathrooms are dirty, lack toilet paper and working sinks. Ample amount of parking.
Lena C — Google review
Big shopping mall with everything you can think of. Nike had a massive sale. Burlington was my highlight I got almost everything under one roof. Better be prepared to walk, so put on comfortable shoes preferably Crocs. Bloomingdale's one of the best

It is a big mall where you can buy anything you want especially shoes, clothing, accessories, etc. Shops are neatly arrange and big free parking. Also there many food establishments to choose from

I really like this mall, I have been here many times. Until I went to Ralph Lauren yesterday, the shopping experience was very poor! I have been to Ralph Lauren so many times, and this is the worst one! The staff inside VERY RUDE and RACIALISM! Two of my friends and I bought the same coat in Ralph Lauren, Long Island. But when we got home, we found it didn't fit so well. The next day, we bought a different size. So I want to return the first one we bought .But I don't understand why that male staff member named 'cesar' is SO RUDE and RACIALISM! I will never come to this mall again because of this incident!
Kiki Y — Google review
Every store under the sun! Huge parking area. Excellent outlet prices. People come here with suitcases and shop til they drop! We have been coming for years. There are also great restaurants to get your energy back after so much shopping 😉
Michelle M — Google review
An excellent shopping destination! It's massive, offering a wide variety of stores that cater to all tastes. I recommend arriving right when it opens to avoid the crowds, as it can get busy. There are also plenty of dining options available. Be sure to bring a suitcase for all your purchases, or you can buy one there if needed!

The GRAMMY Museum Experience Prudential Center is an incredible museum filled with fascinating exhibits. It features a wide range of artists, including Bruce Springsteen and his band from their early beginnings to the present day. Visitors can enjoy interactive displays such as playing drums with the band, making it an enjoyable experience for all. The museum offers a great opportunity to see and learn about various aspects of music history in an engaging way.
Great exhibit. Fun things to try, like playing drums with the band.Lots to try and see.

For a smaller museum, it covers a broad range of history quite well! Never realized so many artists got their start in NJ! A few of the interactive audio tracks were a bit too soft or loud. Definitely worth a stop in if you're in the area and love music from Grammy winning artists!
David H — Google review
It is a nice but small museum attached to the Prudential Center. The kids loved the hands on experiences with the instrumentals and the microphones. The displays are cool and seeing the history of music is always fun. You will not spend more than 45 minutes here. Parking can be a pain. Sunday’s are apparently are great day to go as street parking is free (check signs first to confirm and there is no event at the prudential) and there were only 2 other people in the museum.

Such a really cool and fantastic museum.

Cool mini version of the L.A Grammy Museum. Small but neat and only $10. I loved the interactive exhibits like playing the drums tutorial and the Beatles exhibit
Krisztina K — Google review
I went there to see the Beatles Experience exhibit. It was ok but not great by any means. There were a few artifacts, like one of Paul's bass guitar, but overall, the exhibit was underwhelming. In over an hour, I was the only person there.
Adam S — Google review
Such a great exhibit especially if you're a Springsteen freak like myself. You get to see Bruce and the band from the beginning to the present. Other artists showcased in there as well. I was there mainly for Bruce‼️‼️❤❤❤💜🎵🎶🎼🥁🎷🎸
Jamie B — Google review
Very small but fun. I went by myself and spent around 50 min there. Maybe I would have spent more if I went with a friend since there were a lot of interactive activities. Not entirely sure this was worth the $10 bucks but this museum did manage to make me smile quite a few times, so overall if you have an hour to kill in the area it’s a decent place - but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.
Dzina — Google review
Great experience, we enjoyed our stay. I hope that more artists contribute to personal items, but overall a nice experience.

Great pop up museum with some interesting artifacts and lots of trivia. Best part was the interactive instrument displays. Entire room about Whitney Houston and lots about NJ musicians. Not very large. Takes about an hour at maximum.
